Rusty_Savage Verified Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Actually? Lol Haha I doubt it. I just got a kick out of him being on a baseball roundtable
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 John Shannon Oh the hockey guy? Seems legit
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 John Shannon He's like 90% hockey guy, who hogwash's Bobcat's nuts.
Rusty_Savage Verified Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I don't take anything any of the Rogers radio/tv personalities seriously. They all blow. Good for comedic relief though

closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I would call him a poor man's Colby Rasmus if his contract wasnt $10,000,000.00 I havent seen enough of him to draw JP Arancibia comparisons but his K rate has been historically terrible.
Rusty_Savage Verified Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Brunt, Davidi, BNS and Arden Zwelling are all pretty good. True enough. Too bad they couldn't be on a baseball roundtable.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 True enough. Too bad they couldn't be on a baseball roundtable. Some are late night on SN, and guests on MLB Network.

Judging a guy solely on k rate is really dumb.

Woah now. Bruce gets like 2x the RIBbies than JPA. Really, he is a top 5 catcher! We've all been misreading this trade - Jays aren't trying to get a LF but a starting catcher. Moves Russell to backup. Pretty legit.

Funny thing is having to see people post starting catchers as our back-up, hell, I've seen Lucroy brought up?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 True enough. Too bad they couldn't be on a baseball roundtable. You should go to a pitch talks event. A lot of those guys participate in them.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I am a little disappointed, no Posey? Pft Oh yeah, he's a better 1st base fit than Lucroy, right?
GeorgiaPeach Verified Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 No way? Wow. Does that happen in other sports too? You'd think based on that statement that Wrigley would've been empty based on their lack of success for the past 100 years. Or the Leafs, Maple Leaf Gardens.....and ACC......s*** teams forever and sold out.
GeorgiaPeach Verified Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Hey, P.S.!!! What was that offer you sent me, I can't find it in my e-mail(think I deleted it), send it again, please? I've got way too much going on to even care about fantasy stuff right now.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Can someone tweet to Bobcat that ESPN's David Schoenfield predicted the Jays to have the fifth best record in MLB winning the AL East at 91-71 He is so f***ing ignorant keeps saying his I haven't seen anyone predict the Jays garbage.

They sell 15,000 + to corporate ownership, 2000 to scalpers and like a thousand to the general public... very different.

Maple Leaf Gardens was boycotted by fans in the 80's, plenty of empty seats, I used to go as a kid all the time.

closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Judging a guy solely on k rate is really dumb. The JPA comment was tongue and cheek if you missed it, and for the record he would likely do the same or better than Rasmus in TO.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Saunders said he feels good the other day, so its not him I was right, dorks
