BTS Community Moderator Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 At least we can take solace in not being Boxy That we can. Though I'm a bit worried about him if his BORED team ends up being bad.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 You all have bullied Boxy so much over the last 3 years, no wonder he's so crusty.
TRM Verified Member Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Maybe Greenwood will let him join his beginners league so he can sharpen up his skills, a la Roy Halladay going back to Single A

BTS Community Moderator Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 If boxy has three seasons in a row one game better than Dinger's record will he even be back to 0.500?

Mind = blown BTW I think Silvergun is going to shatter that record this year. Take the team that just won the championship and add a full year of Sano.

Otherwise he looks primed for a repeat and possible dynasty.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Jesse Chavez. Really solid back-end rotation options. Good for your ratios.
TRM Verified Member Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Chavez was the top of our board. We were going to take him at our last pick if Finnegan had gone.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I'm getting pretty tired of Greenwood holding the draft up.

BTS Community Moderator Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Wow, Puig should just not open his mouth, ever. Puig was listed at 255 pounds last season, which Friedman said last month "may not be the optimal size for him to play 150 games, 150-plus games." The Cuban outfielder doesn't believe that it led to his struggles and injuries last season, but he worked over the winter to make a change. "You're right, he did suggest I lose a few pounds, for that exact reason," Puig explained through a team official. "For me, I don't see the correlation between weight and how well one plays baseball, or how that affects one or the other. However, of course, I'm taking him up on that suggestion. Everyone else has encouraged me to do the same. But really, I don't see much correlation." Bothered by hamstring injuries, Puig batted just .255 with 11 homers and a .758 OPS over 79 games last season.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Is Puig expected to be suspended this year?

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Is Puig expected to be suspended this year? For what?
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 For what? He gets lumped in with Chapman and Reyes when there's an article about the MLB wanting to make a statement with disciplinary action this summer, but it's very unlikely that he gets suspended over the bar incident.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Cruise on down, Chris Carter.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Chris Carter should cruise past 25 homers this year.
