Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 It's going to be funny when frenchsoup's rotation of Wade Mileys ruins the rate stats his closers put up. It won't, you still need to pair those closers with an ace or at least a couple SP2s. He has no pitchers on his farm either, tho he should be able to trade Benintendi to Boxy for Scherzer+.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I wouldn't touch either of them just for aesthetic reasons I think SB is the most puntable category anyway.
King Old-Timey Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Spittins online, and org has GDs pick.

Cyborg Verified Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Let's go Spittin. I have GD's pick.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I'm Collin it. GD is making a McHughge mistake sniping me with this pick.

If I was in this thing I'd go 9 bats before a starter, easily.

I drafted Kluber in the 10th round BBDL. Picked up Arrieta off the wire. Traded Leake and Carl Crawford for Keuchel, and then d'Arnaud for Archer. It's pretty easy.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Nola was a solid pick. If he can improve the change he can be a solid number 2 SP.

You definitely aren't finding a Kluber/Arrieta/Carrasco every season.

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Wei-Yin Chen is at the top of my board so I guess I'l go with him.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 So there are a bunch of Andrew Millers still on your board just waiting to buoy your ratios? Lucky you. I see a few good but old closers and then a bunch of setup guys whose ratios aren't nearly as good as the elite closers I mentioned. Well, you listed Rosenthal (who is very good) but in terms of ratios there are lots of guys who can give you what he does minus the saves.

Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I'll get some SP pitchers fellas, don't worry about me...appreciate the concern though.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I got Arrieta for free in the DDL and just got Waino for Ben Revere and change Do you realize how infrequently things like Jake Arrieta happen? You got really, REALLY lucky.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Yeah I had him waaaaay higher than Sonny Gray.
