I'm pretty terrified I'll end up with Betts as my 1st rounder. Hes a great piece, but I'm not sure he's an offensive anchor piece. At my spot I'll probably have to choose between a youg stud like Betts, Springer or Sano, or an old stud like Votto or Miggy. Tough decision.

With so many young player breakouts in 2015, this first round could provide a real shakeup from recent years. Should be interesting to watch unfold as a spectator. Machado, Bryant, Betts and others will be first-time first rounders.

I just love Betts' core skillset and he provides more traditional production than you'd think. He's basically a much younger and more bankable version of the player Carlos Gomez has been. Springer gets to a similar production level in a completely different way. I forgot to mention Correa but he'll probably be a top 10 pick.

 

There's a pretty good chance Betts is more like 15/15 & .750 than 25/25 & .850. The floor isn't what I love for a 1st. I want bankable power.
