I'll weigh in here. I would accept the mod nomination if the admin and other mods would be okay with it. I'm sure this is unexpected to some, but I would never ban someone simply for disagreeing with my way of analysing baseballl. The biggest problem, like many have mentioned, is the GDTs where when things aren't going right for the Jays it can become insufferable as a result of the reoccurring accounts spewing their garbage all over. We're not Orioles Hangout, saying X player sucks or Y player made an awful play or Gibby messee up is torelated, but when the same person repeats the same negative crap throughout the entire game/GDT it becomes impossible to read and definitely draws people away from the main board, including myself at times.

 

I feel like certain people definitely do get unnecessary flack (o2, TwistedLogic to name a few), and I'll be the first to admit that I've been a perpetrator at times. Perhaps with a few more mods looking out for obvious trolls it can make the main board a more enjoyable place to talk baseball and avoid people attacking each other.

ATOTHE would be good. Any mod has to stay out of the fray more that when they were piling on in the GDT etc...he loves the Jays...knows ball and is on here a lot.

 

He has been really acerbic occasionally to me too but its all left on the ice. Still respect his views.
