Man, it's been over a month since Bautista's been DH'ing. He missed 5 games and then started dh'ing exclusively. I bet he'd be back by now had they DL'ed him.

I hope that Devon Travis is able to adapt as pitchers learn more about him. In his last 10 games he was batting .167 - http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=581527#gameType='R'&sectionType=career&statType=1&season=2015&level='MLB' . So I don't think the Blue Jays current troubles are because of Devon Travis not being in the lineup.

I believe that was sarcasm since I had actually forgotten about Devon Travis coming back in early June.

 

Devon Travis seems like a good guy and real talent, so hopefully there will be room for both Travis and Goins on the Blue Jays. I can't see Goins replacing Travis, but I hope that Goins stays for his defensive abilities.

Tough call and who knows. Our lineup has been decimated and his numbers since April 21st are productive.

 

We haven't fared that well trying to have Reyes, Saunders or Jose play through injuries. They took a more cautious route on Travis.
