I like Smoak, think he's a good player - but how Colabello isn't the starting 1st baseman blows me away, he's second on the team in WRC and it's not like Smoak has good career numbers.

I'm sorry....seven years playing Independent League Ball. To do what he did this year, I don't care if he hits under the Mendoza line, I'm a fan.

 

For that matter I think he continues to be a decent asset to this team. He was one of our better hitters in the playoffs.

Yup...even if its a fairy tale that has ended it is/was an incredible story I loved. The guy just kept hitting and he did it in the post season taking Smoak's job against RHP.
