SaskJaysFan_2 Verified Member Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Where does Aoki stack up? I think he'd be a good, economically (relatively) signing by the Jays. I'd love Martin, too, but that'd take real money and a payroll bump.

tercet Verified Member Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Har har har good one moody Naw cant ban him over a simple troll BTS was and still is an uber dbag, NJH was just part of his posse back in the bluejays.com days. I think hes moved on and matured compared to his old attitude like most people, unlike bts.

If you took Ortiz and Navarro's baserunning combined it still wasn't as bad as Aoki's was last season.

From watching Aoki the few times he's played the jays, he does a lot of dumb things(Rajai Davis esque) I wouldn't touch him.

I don't think you can make your mind up from seeing him a few times when he plays the Jays but I know what you are saying. I remember he made a terrible read on a line drive in RF. I think he would be a decent defender in LF and a lot better than Melky but the baserunning is concerning a little. He seems like a guy who would be a decent number 2 hitter as with the power bats behind him his baserunning could hide behind that a bit.
