MB from our best pitcher to a guy who you hold your breath on getting out of the 4-5th inning. Do they take turns being liabilities and not being able to go to the 5th or 6th without giving up the lead?

I have total respect for Mark B but anyone who thought he was going to have a 2 "ish" ERA after his fast start was delusional.

 

He is an amazingly durable professional LHP who will end up with 200 innings and 3.5 to 4.5 ERA who makes a boatload....none of this skid with him surprises me.

Crappy TV programs where they claim it's "reality" where it's mostly whiny people fighting with each other and being interviewed. If you haven't seen any "reality" shows consider yourself lucky.

Buehrle has pitched adequately. Price for all of his hype/reputation has pitched 1 innings (13 pitches less) less and 2 more walks.

I saw Alvarez's stats. I wanted to cry. Granted the numbers might inflate a bit in the AL East but still not bad for a guy who they thought might be a $5/marginally effective starter ant thus expendable.

 

I figured MB would regress and have some bad outings but it seems like they're coming too close together and bunched at the wrong time. It's one reason I hoped they'd pick up a starter since MB is a solid #3-4 guy but he wasn't going to be an Ace.

And last year was the reverse, brutal in first half and then solid down the stretch. Would be nice to get some consistency from the guy.

I'd rather they just have a "show" where it's people sitting in a waiting room in silence except for their mumbling and sounds of moving around. The Real Housewives of who gives a f*** is the worse. People beating and running their mouths to see who can be the bigger mouth. Ugh. So sad.

Don't forget giving up a number of prospects to acquire that player too. Too expensive to sign but we need to empty the farm along with taking on more money. Why offer the FA an extra million or some kind of benefit when you can wait for someone else to sign them, want to dump salary, take it all on (outside of a few million) while pissing away prospect that might have been with the big team or traded for someone younger and more valuable? #BaseballSmarts
