HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 No seriously. why the f*** wasn't Reimold PH for Thole? It's Josh f***ing Thole. Reimold hit two HR off of a righty in Houston. I don't give a s*** if you lose the DH. That's the 9th inning of a win/lose situation. You absolutely remove your DH in that situation. f*** Gibbons f*** AA f*** this team
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Rogers is trolling me by putting on male tennis after this loss.

You can't have Thole with 2 outs batting in that situation if you have someone like Reimold available.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Well... at least we should extend Melk. And find another f***ing starter this offseason. 2014 is done. Stick a fork in this s***** team.

Stick a fork in this s***** team. This team is not a starter away. This core had its chance two years in a row and failed miserably, with hundreds of millions of Rogers' money being flushed down the drain in the process. We need a legitimate rebuild with a competent GM (Farhan Zaidi please).

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 So a s***** team is a starter away from not being s*****? Nope but that would be a good start.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 FK FK FK FK FK FK FK Unclutch bats and terrible bullpen. Starting pitching means little when the other two are so bad. The dream is slipping away Why do I invest so much of myself to these sports teams. They always let me down
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 i know the hipster thing in toronto is to look forward to the leafs/raps but who the f*** are we kidding here, this is toronto where every team sucks. i don't want to hear the whole "raps are young and on the rise bs." i've been hearing that s*** for almost a decade and yet they still haven't made it past the first round in god knows how long. there is nothing to look forward to sports wise in this city, DOOM AND GLOOM
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 True. He gave up the lead and the winning run but don't forget the Jays hitters also wasted a few opportunities to tack on additional runs. Tough loss for sure. The more I think about it, I think it was more Biggie than Janssen since Janssen was pitching for the 3rd night in a row and I think it showed in his pitches, they had no life and were up in the zone. It's frustrating, no doubt, but that's baseball and Janssen is usually nails. The team's battled all season, I doubt they'll stop now. We'll see what happens.

But that would be the first step as this rotation blows. Bullpen blows also, as seen tonight
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 azn? Haha no. High liver enzyme count because i got wasted the night before a blood test. Need to do #2 on Monday.

Attendance has picked up in the 2nd half, maybe since July and so have ratings this year. Last year, the team presold tons of tickets. Not saying they made lots of money, but they certainly haven't lost any.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 So, I guess Valencia is a lock to start tomorrow with Schezer pitching. Poor guy won't get a rest until Sunday with Price pitching.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 CJ blew it, actually. jays should have put away in the first couple of innings. Tigers defense was kicking the ball around. Thole left a small town on the bases. he's useless.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 If I was a Leafs-Raptors-Bluejays-Bills fan the last 10 years I might of want to kill myslef. 2 of those teams made the playoffs and one of them only once in a short season. If I wasn't a Colts fan I wouldn't know what to do as I'm a fan of the Blue Jays and Raptors and there has been quite a few heartbreaking moments.

Thole left a small town on the bases. he's useless. The Jays scored all their runs in the "first couple of innings". The team had a 2 run lead with 3 outs to go and Janssen on the mound, I'm sure you'd take that every day of the week and twice on Sunday. As I said on another post, Biggie played a key role in this loss since Janssen was pitching for the 3rd night in a row and tonight was the first save opportunity of the 3. We'll see what happens...
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 I don't get the whining, although I should since it's a GDT. Still, so many posters were just begging for "meaningful games in August" prior to the start of the season yet can't seem to handle the rigors of a WC race.

Being a diehard Seahawks fan has let me care less and less about the Jays I f***ing hate hockey too so its becoming almost impossible to support an ownership group that spends 5 BILLLLION for MOOOAR hockey on TV.
