Either Beeston, AA and Gibbons are fired or Rogers doesn't care about winning (good luck selling tickets next year if that's the case).

I can already hear the excuses being made and then why they won't spend money this upcoming off season to try and put the Jays back in contention. Unless AA really lucks out and gets something of value that helps push this team into the playoffs this year in the up coming weeks it seems like they'll continue to choke when they need to play hard.

They might fire Gibbons as a token fire or no one and blame excuses, injuries, everyone else got better but us blah blah the same nothing.

This is where not signing Santana comes to bite us in the ass. Buerlhe is a total complete choker who cracks under pressure. Maybe earlier in his career he wasn't like that, but today he is.

What will tomorrows game bring ?

If we're lucky, an energized team that comes out swinging, scoring runs, pitching well, and makes up for this game.

Is he competing with Buck for the comment trophy of nothingness?

Could be.

I liked Esmail Rogers stuff too, when he was here.

I still have no idea why they called him up to not use him then DFA only to lose him on waivers. It looked like he might have figured it out in the minors. Maybe.

Looked like he was determined to figure it out,and was starting to.

He looked good in Boston.

Always had good stuff, couldn't seem to put it together for a long stretch. He also wasn't really used well when here. Long man, then sparsely used, then multiple days, then sent down.

That game sucked. And it won't make Yanks fans happy either, as the O's are running away with the East, and now have the largest division lead in the AL, and are now only 4 back(5 in the loss column) of having home field advantage into the World Series..

Still, the rest of the wild card isn't exactly inspiring either. Cleveland isn't really a factor, Kansas City can't score consistently, Seattle can't score at all.. and who knows what the Yanks will do.

Oh well. Go Tigers.

Even if we were to win the 2nd wildcard spot, we would get f***ed up by the Angels pretty easily. The Jays rotation is f***ing horrible.
