These A's surely make things exciting in the 9th inning, damn.

Orioles lost; Yankees are going to lose; RAYS need to die 'cause Sox have to break their 8 game losing streak.

Weee.

Wondering why people seem unwelcoming when we're all here for a common reason is not drama. What you just said is rude and unnecessary. Why would anyone new even stay around?

Just ignore; move on. Some people are idiots.

Hate to say this but you have to have thick skin on most of these boards. The ignore function works, please use it and stay posting. There are lots of really good knowledgeable baseball fans on this board and I for one have learned lots from some of these guys. Most of us value all the posters on this board ,the more the better as it will only succeed fiscally if people contrite and post.

Definitely Boston; Rays cannot resurge, they need to be buried.

Yup. Don't want either team getting on a winning streak.

I warned you, ignore the few group trolls, and your stay here will be great, you will see who they are very quickly. Welcome BTW. Ignore functions IS key, there are some good posters here, ignore the few dominant trolls.

Another series win for the Blue Birds! If the White Sox can hang on against the Yankees we'll have picked up a game on 3/4 of the division, not too shabby. I'm going to game tomorrow hopefully the Jays didn't put the brooms away from last series.

What a satisfying game today. The forum was mightily amusing too.

Off to watch the sons of satan/sox game now.

The Toronto Blue Jays, to a man, will tell you that they always believed. That they knew, hidden among the ruins of last year’s 74-88 last-place finish, they were a first-place team.

Atop the standings in the American League East as May winds down, with a comfortable game-and-a-half cushion and the division’s best run differential, a quiet and confident sense of satisfaction has settled around the club as it prepares to officially end Toronto’s two-decades long playoff drought.

“I’m proud of this group, man” Gibbons said, with a smile, in his Texas drawl. “They competed. They came in here this season ready to play, ready to win. We knew it was only a matter of time before [brandon] Morrow and [Dustin] McGowan went down, and guys responded, took the ball, and pitched well.

The Blue Jays proved last year that a division – and a season – could be lost in April. This year, a playoff spot all but guaranteed in a weak AL East after a 15-7 May, they proved the opposite.
