wilko Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 And you're a platoon poster. Nothing more, nothing less. Navarro has been our best catcher since Greg Zuan. Honerable mention to Darren Fletcher! Shut your mouth when you're talking to me!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Navarro - better than JPA but not an Andover average regular. Switch hitter is a positive, decent approach at the plate with patience. Bad base runner, bad pitch framer, decent arm. Haven't felt any issues with him regarding game calling. Not as good as Kratz
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 The thing with Navarro is that he may or may not be a good game caller. Buehrle has one plus skill, control/command. So its easy for Navarro to put up a sign and have Buehrle excute. Other guys on this team don't have that plus skill.
