ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 He's a very good pitcher when healthy. You feel bad for him, and for the team that he can't stay that way. I do, which is why I said he was snake-bitten. We'll have to hope he fully recovers.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 they forgot to correct for the terrible front office though. fo-war
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Run differential through today. Orioles -3 Blue Jays -5 Red Sox -5 Rays -11 Yankees -12 Incredible There really are not any great teams in the AL East this year It's there for the taking and instead we're tanking
GeorgiaPeach Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 We did have a chance though. delusional
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 If anything it gives us a chance to see the young pitchers in the majors Except you have to look behind the fence in left field to see them...
GeorgiaPeach Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I think even if you're tearing it down, you pick it, hope he bounces back and trade him for something. I think even in a teardown, they should be able to risk $10M. On the other hand, if they're trying to retool, maybe they make a run at one of the elite FA SP and that $9M would come in handy. Anyway... Why would they tear it right down. We were already there a few years ago. No reason to gut.
GeorgiaPeach Verified Member Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 How is that delusional? Any team projected to be above .500 has a chance. I don't like it when teams have extremely fluky years and over perform of what's expected of them....and that includes my favourite team.

Gibbons doesn't want to use Happ, Redmond or Rogers and now AA is forcing him to use Happ by designating Stroman to the pen. the battle between the two of them is killing us, but I understand Gibbons and dont blame him for trying to force AA's hand.

The sad thing about this is the players are going to get hurt
