BTW, Juan's HR last night went 434 ft according to ESPN's HR tracker.

Hard to believe that. Seemed further.

It wouldn't be acceptable now either, wat.

Huh? Yes it would, 1 out, leading, with lower order coming up. And if you feel confident.

Nice inning guys

Great inning

Now what they usually do here is suddenly stop scoring runs, letting the opposing starter off the hook, and then our starter gives them runs back

PLEASE don't do either of those things today. Please.

Wonder if AA still thinks he overpaid for Navarro, I have to admit watching play with Tampa Bay I didn't think he would be this productive this far. A huge upgrade over J.P.

Problem is middle of the order is full of derps.

Good approach their Lawrie - *Cough* Idiot *Cough*

This is unbelievable. The pitcher is struggling and is against the ropes and he doesn't even look at one or two pitches to get a feel for the movement. Just took a wild, hard swing and let the pitcher off the hook. *smh*

Being fat doesn't make you a bad base runner. It makes you a slower one.

Not being able to move up, and constantly having to hold back makes you a bad baserunner.

Dang, Lawrie just missed that.

True, he missed the opportunity to capitalize on the situation. I am not suggesting it is easy being up there at the plate but at the same time read the situation for what it is and adjust accordingly.

If the pitcher is on the ropes and struggling with fastball command, he'll likely try to throw one right down the pipe, that's the pitch he looked for, and the pitch he got, unfortunately it wasn't effective, but nothing wrong with that approach.

Approach wise.

Disagree. He has been getting behind 0-2 by taking pitches repeatedly this season. I believe they are trying to have him become a little more aggressive.
