GoldBull Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Really hoping for a good effort from Hutchison tonight. Cleveland has been hitting pretty well over the past week. It'll be a tough one...
kgm1 Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Right now Navarro is 2 for 13 throwing out runners and while he only has 1 PB has looked the fat self he is when trying to block pitches in the dirt . Teams will soon see this and start running wild on us . Both the pitchers and the Fat bastard need to get their collective ass together on this . I don't mind his bat and he seems to be in a good groove calling the games but his CS needs huge work .

I'm not saying it's an excuse, but there was clearly some reason that Delabar and Santos suddenly couldn't find the zone. it makes sense and for us, it's really good if that is all if was. I'm more worried about the offense leaving a large refugee boat on the bases last night.

I suppose, maybe some guys and some pitches are more affected by cold hands. In any case, we need those guys, hopefully just one bad outing.

Every reliever is entitled to a handful of bad outings per season; but, that was a blow out 2 for 1 fire sale. All strikes must go!

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Nice!!! it's going to be an awesome set. I'd just say that make sure you dont drop the white ones on anything hard. they have natural weak creases. that's what gives it the grain. if you drop them on a stone floor they will most likely split. just sayin....

Though I've had some recently. Last trip to Vegas the 4 of us decided to rent a limo and drive around drinking it out of the bottle before checking in to our hotel. There's no denying it - that stuff is crap.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 I wonder what gruber's reaction is to the leading answer to this poll lol
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Norris was pitching a good game stat wise anybody know why he was pulled after four ?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I was at a place in Montreal last year that had $10 beers and $3 shots of JD. I'll never touch that stuff again. Yeah, one night on it will make you never go there again LOL
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I wonder what gruber's reaction is to the leading answer to this poll lol I think is unfair to send down goins when Lawrie is given a pass and valued for the same defensive skills! Momma let him play! And Reyes due back his bat will matter even less to the over all success of this team. But his defense might win us a game or two!

And Reyes due back it his bat will matter even less to the over all success of this team. But his defense might win us a game or two! Except Lawrie actually came to the majors as a prospect who could hit. And has done so, in the majors, for short short stretches. Goins has never hit well at any level.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Lind will probably hit the DL.....just saying. Adam Lind (back) will be re-evaluated after doing some drills Friday. Lind was removed from Tuesday's game with lower back tightness. If he feels alright after doing drills Friday, he'll avoid the disabled list. If he doesn't, he could be the roster move the Blue Jays make when they activate Jose Reyes (hamstring) from the DL on Saturday. Apr 18 - 5:14 PM Source: Gregor Chisholm on Twitter But why keep Goins, Diaz and Kawasaki up when Reyes is back? Makes no sense. Would make more sense to call up Francisco or Gose.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 since when was it about making sense? I don't think they're dumb enough to do that

Tell me when goins hits 3 homeruns in his career...does he even have 3 hits?
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 pitch count How low was his pitch he only faced 13 batters and struck out 6 with no hits! Do you know?
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Tell me when goins hits 3 homeruns in his career...does he even have 3 hits? Ok Cito I will ! Not like Lawrie hits many of them either ! Hr's do not measure the greatness of a hitter!

Would make more sense to call up Francisco or Gose. Diaz can play the OF so in this case the bench is fast, good D and can play every position except 1B/C (well on paper at least lol). I personally would send down Goins and call up Gose and if Lind hits the DL call up Fransisco
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I don't think they're dumb enough to do that Daiz probably plays a better RF than Sierra

Problem is...1 hr from Lawrie is greater offensive value than goins...plus Lawrie is 10 times a better fielder at his position than goins is at his.
