The way I understand it, the dispersal draft order is randomly generated. At least thats what we discussed ITT.

 

Ya, it'll be random. And it'll be a snake draft. Right after the playoffs are over, before the prospect draft. The teams prospects will be included in the dispersal draft. The teams leaving won't have any picks in the prospect draft or the waiver draft.

Regarding prospect and waiver picks..

 

Any pick you traded to the 4 teams leaving will just disappear. You do not get your pick back. Those 4 teams will not be put into the draft lottery. If you own one of the 4 team's picks you'll get a comp pick at the end of that pick's round.

Connor Hellebuyck has been sent to the minors.

Advice: The Jets needed to make a roster spot available in order to activate Ondrej Pavelec. We'll see if Hellebuyck rejoins the team in short order or if this is just a temporary measure. Hellebuyck certainly impressed during Pavelec's absence as he posted a 2.34 GAA and .918 save percentage in 26 contests. At the same time, Hellebuyck hasn't been quite as good lately and if the Jets intend to play Pavelec frequently for the remainder of the season, then Hellebuyck might be better served in the AHL where he can play consistently and continue to hone his game.
