Laika Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Oh, they were in Boston? Definitely just the useless Bruins offense hitting legs from the outside then.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Away game, but maybe boosting Bruins' CORSI. how gauche
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 CORSI is out now? What's the new hotness?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 CORSI is out now? What's the new hotness? No it's just never referred to as CORSI lol One of the first articles I read about hockey stats was how it's such a no no to say CORSI like it's FIP or something
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 CORSI is out now? What's the new hotness? I think CORSI and FENWICK were essentially turned into SAT and USAT by the new NHL.com stats reboot (Shot Attempts and Unblocked Shot Attempts). It's just a rebrand because CORSI and FENWICK are terrible, non-inclusive names for stats. Nobody new to fancy stats would have any idea where they come from or what they stand for or mean. They are like calling basic +/- "MARCUS", or something like that.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Imagine if DIPS and FIP were called Voros and Tango.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 My goaltending has been poo. 5 straight losses for the Preds...
Frag Verified Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Imagine if DIPS and FIP were called Voros and Tango. Tango sarcastically called weighted shot differential "Tango".
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 Some updates need to be done on the spreadsheet for my team. In: Bo Horvat King's 1st rd pick JFaS' 3rd rd pick Out: Matej Stransky (Now to Frag) My 3rd rd pick (To JFaS) Thanks! I'll try to update it this weekend when I get on my own computer. For some reason my computer here at work won't let me update google docs, never has let me. Also, how did you acquire King's 1st? I don't see the trade on Yahoo or Proboards..
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Yeah, guys, posting the trade on proboards would be useful for future reference. I don't like it either, but when it's unclear what happened to an asset, it's easier for us commishes to go through that rather than 198 pages of this.

This is very true, but that was a King deal, he's dumn and lazy.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 JFaS: Jayce Hawryluk Frag: David Savard Matej Stransky Commishes suck at updating spreadsheet. Never got to see Stransky under my name I forgot to mention I love Savard, who'll take over the Wiz's role, well done Frag, not to mention he's a physical, fearless, D-man, surprised JFaS wanred to move him.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Wouldn't be keeping him and I think there are similar players on the wire. I get that with D, but... Still a fair deal as you're stacked.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I'm looking to trade Blake Comeau. He would be a nice fit for a playoff team. Both LW/RW eligibility, has 14 G, 12 A and a +12 along with 125 hits in 42 games this season with the Penguins.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 If I don't come back this week I'll have a shitload of players to sell off.

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 trade note: I traded GoldBull's 3rd to SG for Zidlicky

z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I'm going to put this out there, i will probably only use my first 2 picks, so I will trade anything below that for literally ANY upgrade on my roster. Let me know!

Frag Verified Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Interesting looking back at the prospect draft to see who is doing well so far. Round 1: Hard to tell, but the Ehlers pick looks better and better. Same goes for the Duclair pick. Round 2: Connor Brown is looking good so far. Same goes for Burakovsky. Again, hard to tell here. Round 3: Dave Pastrnak looks like a potential steal this far down. Same for Dylan Larkin. Round 4: Kevin Hayes also looks like a potential steal this far down. Round 5: Hard to tell who is good so far. Round 6: Brendan Leipsic looks like a good pick so far. Round 7: Charles Hudon is looking really good this late. Round 8: Damon Severson looks decent this late. Possibly the same for Calvin Pickard. Round 9: My Buchnevich pick as well as the Shane Prince pick looking good so far. Round 10: Jiri Sekac could look very good this late.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Domi, Pickard and Ritchie so far, none that I own, lol.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Faaaawk...my kids are killing it.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I think I'm going to hold on to Kempe and Fucale.
