Thoughts on the new colour radio guy (Joe Siddall)?

I was listening to the game while driving home from work and Siddall seemed better than Jack Morris.

 

What are your thoughts on him?

 

When are we going to get a sabermetrics guy on the radio or television?

So far he's been very good. Hopefully he keeps crazy jerry in check.

Ben Nicholson Smith would be great for analytics. But don't know if he has the voice/presence for live media.

Yip, you have to have a good voice. Joe Siddal is fine..... He's had a bad last year... so I hope this year is better.

BNS was on TV maybe once that I can recall. Didn't seem totally comfortable in front of the camera.

Listened to two innings on Monday. He was good but I'm biased as I've met him several times, so chances are I'd like him. I could see him taking a lot of heat from fans about his praise of opposing players. He raved about Price a lot.

What, you think Buck and Tabby weren't fawning all over him too?

I like him, gives some decent insight to the whole pitcher catcher relationship and how they are trying to work hitters. I think he will be one of the jays best off season additions this year

His almost sounds like Dirk Hayhurst to me. I have no problem with him, although I will miss Jack Morris. I found it refreshing last year that he wasn't deliberately nuthugging an awful baseball club.
