Except Sizemore has actually produced more than Ellsbury in his career. He's already been decimated with injuries, lets not pile on with JPA analogies lol.

 

JE is very underrated and has been a 6+ WAR guy easy over the last 3 year years whenever he's on the field.. one of best players in bb.. GS has provided around 1.5 WAR in the last 5 seasons combined..his latest attempt being 2011 when he was replacement level in half a season...it's a stupid comparison...prob like saying a 42yo Arod is a poor man's 30yo Cabrera

I play at a mediocre level on all-star difficulty. You'd probably rape and pillage me. How's your online? Most of the time for The Show it's choppy, or so I've heard from others with the game.

That was 2k13, which I think is now defunct.

Usually a season-long Franchise with the Blue Jays, with the most accurate rosters that use ZiPS projections based off of OSFM.

Yeah.. they said that last season until like 3 weeks before release date and switched course.. but.. they did that by just taking the same 2k12 and updating the rosters.. there was backlash from gamers.. so this time I think they mean it when they say it.

I'm terrible at those games. Actually the only sports game I'm competent at is the show. Probably because I've been playing since the first edition of it.

 

My first was 08. I just played Roy Halladay versus the Pirates every game. That was actually how I learned the basic rules of baseball, lol. The soundtrack on those games are great.

EA needs to make baseball games again. The show doesn't even stack up to MVP 05 after all these years.

As for Grady Sizemore.. this is basically dependant on Sizemore staying healthy, and pushing Bradley Jr. for the CF job, if the Red Sox feel he needs more AAA time. But considering the injuries with Sizemore, I'm not holding my breath.

If Sony isn't the game developer behind The Show (I don't know if they do software like Nintendo).. they should at least funnel some money to The Show's developer for this PS4 edition because they could prob sell a good chunk of consoles to people if they put out an awesome game for the PS.. since Xbox now has nothing for bb.

they should seize this opp then.. I, for one, will buy a console with a praised 2014 edition (I play from the sims though as Ive mentioned..lol.. but my kid loves the game part too)

Only in the store or at Cleveland stadium (they have a whole area for the kids with batting cages, ps4s and all that).. it is clearly a superior game.. but already having an Xbox I didn't want to buy console just for that as Im not huge gamer.. but if there is no more 2k sports, I would have to

It's easily a console seller. There's nothing like a franchise with OSFM rosters on The Show.

I hear you on that. I REALLY can't justify spending hundreds of dollars on something that I don't think I'd use very often. It's hard to rationally justify spending one month's rent on a video game system unless you plan to use it frequently. I'd love to play The Show on a PS3 or 4 but for right now it's just PS2 for me!
