Just about every one of us wanted the Jays to sign Anibal Sanchez last year. Gotta say I'd feel better about the 2014 rotation if we had him in there with Dickey and Buerhle already.

Maybe the Tigers would rather trade him and extend Scherzer? Would come at a lower price and fits with AA's mo of last off season of trading for players under contract because he doesn't think he can sign them as FA.

I kinda doubt it. They just don't want to extend Scherzer being a Boras client and all.

Which also puts a damper on any hope fans may have of the Jays acquiring him and extending him.

He's starting to get hit with injuries and is seeing his performance decline not to mention his age and the fact that he's getting paid all the money and a half, I'll go with Pujols.
