Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Well done DeRosa.. almost pillar time!
theblujay Verified Member Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Dude... they are SECOND IN BASEBALL in OPS Maybe it says that it's pretty important to have a solid lineup and bench all the way through. No Bonis or JPAs
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Kevin "Molitor" Pillar 1st AB
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Pillar looks anxious, can't blame him
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 It's a good question though... what's better... A) a few guys with really high OPS and the rest low-medium... or everyone medium-high OPS (assuming that the average OPS of both teams is the same). That IS a good question, but I don't feel like doing the research right now (maybe someone else will?). I would think everyone medium-high would be better as pressure would be constantly exerted on the pitcher the entire game.

Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Damn looked good Pillar, tough luck there
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Pillar looks anxious, can't blame him That's his approach, FreeSwingger (ALA Dominicana).
theblujay Verified Member Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 He's not gonna fit in well with that opposite field stuff.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 You've got to love Rajai's wheels.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 LOL @ this clown show. During the seventh inning stretch, we'll see how many Red Sox pitchers can come out of a Smart Car.
digiblader Verified Member Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 That had to be the worst defense I've seen Boston play all year..
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 That's why Rajai's still here and Boni isn't. Instincts. That was all that Boni was to do. Hit the ball and run
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Kawasaki noodle arm Yeah, that's the one down side to him. Our other guys probably don't come up with the ball in the first place though.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 The speed is a lethal weapon in the hands of the right person. If Gose can put a .330 OBP he'll be an elite CF.
