Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Let's go A's #TankNation #TwoTo10Pick
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 he gives up at least 2 each time he pitches
Dude Verified Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 1-0 Jays about to be bases loaded http://s3-ec.buzzfed.com/static/enhanced/webdr02/2013/8/9/6/anigif_enhanced-buzz-13513-1376043142-12.gif
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Swing? Bases loaded, wild pitcher, 2-0 count and Bautista on deck
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Izturis 2 and 0 bases loaded so swing? And Reyes first pitch swing?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Swing? Bases loaded, wild pitcher, 2-0 count and Bautista on deck Izturis is a waste....kawasaki would provide more value than him.
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 2-0 is a great time to swing since you'll probably get a meaty fastball. Not with Bautista coming up. Would you want Boni swinging or taking?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 2-0 is a great time to swing since you'll probably get a meaty fastball. what? My ex-manager. "The bad hitters can't swing the ball at 2-0 no matter what" lol
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 What difference does it make? You can't just keep taking until you draw a walk, that's not how baseball works. You should swing if you get your pitch 2-0. At least see if it goes 3-0 with bases loaded
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 What difference does it make? You can't just keep taking until you draw a walk, that's not how baseball works. You should swing if you get your pitch 2-0. That rule only applies to good hitters. Izturis is a disaster. His .250 BABIP or 25% or 1/4 says he shouldn't swing at 2-0 bases loaded.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 If you can't hit the baseball you shouldn't be in the lineup. Hitting is about hitting the baseball, not taking until you walk. Guys who walk a lot do so because they can tell if a pitch will be in the zone or not - not because they choose to take most pitches. You can be selective. Izturis didn't have to choose swing-or-take before the pitch, he can let his pitch-tracking ability decide. Agree but.....................250 BABIP VS BB (at 2-0 count)
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Dickey will look very sexy on the back of our renovated rotation in 2014. 1-!@#%^%&*( 2-Morrow 3-Buehrle 4-Dickey 5-Happ/Hutchison/Drabek/Romero
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Bautista sucks balls when we need an rbi.. he is now like 0.090 with the bases loaded.
Shogun89 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Don't f*** up Jose Lol at the fans, griffin has no idea where he's throwing Lol you're a dumb f***.

Trade for a number 1. 2. Morrow 3. Dickey 4. Stroman 5. Hutchisin/Drabek/Trade/Romero/
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Pillar 2-runs triple and 2-runs double. ISO = high, very high
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Pillar 2-runs triple and 2-runs double. ISO = high, very high Call him up
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Pillar 2-runs triple and 2-runs double. ISO = high, very high He better be playing LF in September to see if he can hit at this level.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 the Home run king gives up another one.... knew it was coming. Jays fail to succeed with RISP and it comes back to bite them in the ass.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 JPA sucking? Jays: He has knee issues all year JJ sucking? Jays: He has knee issues all year Dickey sucking? Jays: He had back issues all year Dickey has pitched great his last 3 games including today...the offense HR or nothing is killing us.
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Morrow not likely too be consistent enough to be number 2 they need to pull off two huge deals to get a 1 and 2 starter.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Has Lind been swinging at the first pitch more during his cold streak? Seems like it but maybe just CB.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Has Lind been swinging at the first pitch more during his cold streak? Seems like it but maybe just CB. Lind, welcome back to the s*** zone (.345 OBP)
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Solid AB Thole, great game from Brett
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Toolsy 3B 1-Wright 2-Lawrie?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Lind, welcome back to the s*** zone (.345 OBP) Lind OBP by month April - .397 May - .409 June - .362 July - .263 August .297 And remember when the media (Zaun) was clamoring for him to see more lefties...he's back to .227/.247/.307 in 77 PA's against lefties. He's now a .602 OPS against lefties for 832 PA's. After rejecting his option, prey on his living in Canada and offer him a one year $5M contract and straight platoon him with Pillar. Build his value with only playing against righties and then if Pillar is half way successful they can deal Lind.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Toolsy 3B 1-Wright 2-Lawrie? Id almost say Lawrie would be 1. Wright isnt as fast or as athletic as Lawrie.
