baseballsss Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 anybody have a stat of how many times this team has f***ed up with bases loaded none out?
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 shouldn't suprise anyone the do this all the time
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 they just want to keep the come back rally for the 9th. inning
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 another easy series win for TB in toronto
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Kind of expected the Blue Jays not to score there. I don't think we would see the shenanigans we've seen this year take place under a Joe Maddon or a Terry Francona. Just look at the way Maddon handled that Escobar taunt towards the Jays earlier in the year. Anyway, let's hope they tank some more and get a better draft pick so we can watch them blow it.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I'm against booing your own team but i they lose today i hope the jays get booed off the field this is pathetic. Flex ypur muscles flash lo vista do all that s*** bunch a f***ing losers.
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 maddon has instilled a championship mentality to the rays compared to gibbons who excels at eating sunflower seeds
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Hard to expect players to change or improve when they pay no price for their failings, kind of a mirror of society.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 There is not one fundamentally sound, leadership type player on this team. This is a lost team led by a manager who players clearly aren't interested in going to war with. AA failed miserably.

If there isn't a threat to send them down, or bench them, nothing will happen. When the analysts call them out on it, they get to cry back and don't get a punishment at all. So, nothing will change. Think a championship team would allow players to under preform, make the same mistakes and keep them on the roster all year without making a point?

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Izturis and Arencibia aren't good players, punishing them wouldn't do anything. It's not their fault they've been made everyday players. Of the 3 players that came up to bat in that spot, I actually felt the most confident in Izturis, he was just frozen by a good pitch sequence. Anyway, not talking about one particular game, it's the whole season and as I said, I have a hard time seeing a Maddon-managed team pulling the stunts this team has pulled over and over.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Dis Davis just swing on 3-1 or did I miss a strike? Anyway...
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 the blue jays getting dominated like a cupcake at fat camp
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 i picked the rays to win the east at the season start and the jays to finish at .500
TheEndIsNigh Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 The rays are the exact opposite, sound, good pitching, play good fundamental baseball, develop players in house. THis jays team is horribly wrong.
TheEndIsNigh Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Yep. But I feel like a lot of it is only having three or four players you can count on. If Reyes, Bats and EE were up there, something different would have happened. Winning teams don't have such a bad bottom of the lineup who cannot even do the fundamentals well and bad pitching. That's the issue.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 walk off? More like "get the f*** off"
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Arencibia lets that pitch get away and put the tying run in scoring position
