Auldphartt Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Just got to finally watch what's left of this mess, but what's with the hospital orderly uniforms they're wearing? My gawd they're ugly. As if the white caps weren't bad enough, they had to pollute them with red bills. Don't they understand that red is the anti-Bluejay color, the color of the enemy? I prefer the original logo over the present one because it has less red. Of course it's just a cheesy attempt by Rogers to inflict their corporate color on the team, similar to when they tried desperately to drop the word "Blue" from the team's name. Pathetic. **end rant**
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 was kind of thinking the same thing, not about Rogers though, just Bumfiasco. not sure how he dares show his face in public. I hope the hecklers are out in full force. Yeah, I was more thinking Bonerface for that... It's just that both of them will be there I think Rogers has been a very decent back end starter for us... This game was bad, and the last game was decent, but If he's only supposed to be the #5, I'm okay with those starts when mixed with his great starts....
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 What a f***ing horrible baseball team. Just blow it up already.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 blue jays that was a f***ing embarrassing game fify

Rogers is still early on his learning curve. if he had a real catcher he'd probably progress faster, too bad the jays dont have one. JPA wont call what makes him look bad which limits what he can call for. any pitcher who wont MAKE JPA call the right pitch is in trouble. jays have a lot of guys who wont shake him off and a manager and front office who are too retarded to know they should be calling the game from the dugout. leaving the game calling to a complete mental midget is absolutely mental.

I'm sure that I'll sound like a whiny bitch for this, but Rogers was NOT getting the same "outside corner" against lefties that Verlander (and the Detroit relief corps) was getting. Totally different game (Jays probably still lose, but not an embarrassing loss) if that zone is called fairly... And again, that call at 2B where JPA was "out" was one of the worst calls I've ever seen.

JPA is a flailing idiot behind the plate. he thinks pitch framing is getting caught on camera using his pick up lines and having someone twitter it.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 *shrug* JPA is terrible Umpires are terrible There's lots of terrible to go around. JPA, Boni and probably Lawrie have to go before this team is getting any better. all three are retards who dont realize they are playing a team sport.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 One of these is not like the other Yeah, that's a really weird trio to try to conflate...
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 I wish Bautista would start swinging at the border-line pitches on 2-strikes, rather than having to watchin him whine when the umpire calls him out.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Thank goodness for Minnesota next--sked's gonna soften from here. And we still haven't played Houston. Just rebound with Minnesota and maybe Cleveland, hope the Yankees give Baltimore a hard time, and hope Cabrera's back for our series vs. Baltimore.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Boni should be gone. He should be DFA'd as soon as Cabrera and/or Lawrie return.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 I wish Bautista would start swinging at the border-line pitches on 2-strikes. how about he swings at the first pitch meatballs? he's almost always behind 0-1 to start.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Lawrie is a dumbass third baseman with great defense and has the potential to be great on offense Lawrie needs to be kept in AAA until he realizes it's a team sport and until he gets his ADHD at least partially under control.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 JPA is a f***tard catcher with a s***** bat and bad defense Boni is a s*** utility man with no bat and even worse defense Lawrie is a dumbass third baseman with great defense and has the potential to be great on offense Also, one is a former top prospect who is still only TWENTYf***INGTHREEYEARSOLD.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Exactly. Remember, Carlos Delgado went through the same growing pains as Lawrie--it took him until his age 24-25 season to become a good player.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 The wire, best TV show ever. This thread is about to get awesome!

Looking at how horrible they are, probably the same company that designed the camo unis and hats a while ago.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Trading away the best young catching prospect in baseball is looking like an idiotic decision now Yes... Now....
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Yes... Now.... Yeah, you'd be hard pressed to find a rational human being who thought it was a good idea at the time.
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 You're making quite the implication regarding the fine folks over at the torontobluejays.com message boards. I cannot be held responsible for your inference of the mental abilities of those fine, fine folks.
