burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Damn Isahai Thomas to Sixers as part of that trade. Talk about a crazy 10 min..
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Apparnetly Thomas is going to the Celtics instead. Marc Stein f***ed up.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Denver would clear the space, not the Sixers. But it shows you how valuable late 1st round picks are edit:nvm, i misunderstood
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 holy s***, i need a spreadsheet to figure out who went where
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Wait... Thad Young only fetched KG? The f***...
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 just wojbomb after wojbomb
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Minnesota is still a terribly run organization. Gives up a first for Thad Young and then gives him away for KG just because
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Lol Philly has so many picks now, my god
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine 3m3 minutes ago Suns recently offered Dragic for Brandon Knight. Bucks said no. Now Bucks get the guys they wanted all along -- MCW and Ennis -- for Knight What??? Why would they MCW and Ennis over Knight lol edit: Knight is RFA, makes more sense now
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 The Bucks in the playoffs would be a cakewalk now. I wouldnt be surprised if the Heat pass them for the 6th seed

SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Adam Reisinger @AdamReisinger 38m38 minutes ago If the Lakers pick falls outside the top 5 and the Thunder pick falls outside the top 18, 76ers could have 4 first-round picks in 2015. That would be pretty crazy

immature Verified Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Kanter to OKC. At least they get rid of Perkins which might be the best news in the trade. Why would Utah trade Kanter and a bunch of nothings for Perkins? Kanter also has a reasonable salary at 5.5 and 6.5 for the next two years respectively.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Heat lost a lot of depth but if their starting lineup can stay healthy, they look pretty good right about now Well Dragic is probably on the same level as Lowry when used correctly and Whiteside looks like a Beast, pretty scary team. Either way we would have to play them in the first or second round regardless so I`m not really worried about them. God help us though if one of our bigs go down.

Gobert and Favors is a really good front court duo going forward
immature Verified Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Now its being reported that Utah will receive a future 1st & 2nd rd pick and some German center. This makes more sense. http://www.sltrib.com/sports/2198323-155/utah-jazz-ship-enes-kanter-to
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Damn I really love what the sixers are doing bringing tanking to a whole new level. Brings a tear to my eye.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Kanter also fetched a 1st and a second I believe, and Perk got bought out. Very solid trade for Utah.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Rudy Gobert is f***ing awesome. I love the France kid
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I just don't understand what Phoenix is doing. Acquire four point guards. Sell three for 50 cents on the dollar. In: Knight Granger Thornton A bunch of garbage protected picks Out: Dragic(s) Thomas Ennis Plumlee Several vastly more valuable draft picks That's a horrible day. They dumped some guaranteed contracts but surely they could've did better than this. Dragic is a borderline star. Knight is a solid player but are you going to pay him next year? So disorganized.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Fantastic article written by our very own Patrick Patterson!: http://www.theplayerstribune.com/nba-trade-deadline-patrick-patterson/ "If you told me two years ago that I’d be a Toronto Raptor, I would have thought you were crazy. But here I am, freezing my ass off, smiling and winning basketball games."

That would be pretty crazy They have to trade some of those picks. Their current core is good but do they have any superstars to really build around? Say if Sacramento decides to rebuild Not enough elite talent on that team. They'll probably be ~30M under the cap going into this offseason. Sign someone like Jimmy Butler to build around and make a deal for someone like Cousins with all of those assets.

I think that is the point, collect enough assets so you have an opportunity to build how you like. They are literally stripped down to Covington, Noel and Embiid as keeper players. It will be interesting to follow
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Pretty awesome what the sixers are doing, most teams just tank halfway and end up right back on the treadmill. Good for them that they're willing to sacrifice so much in the short term to try to build a powerhouse.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Confirmed Bosh has blod clots in both lungs. Not good...
