jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Dragic was the clear winner, glad to see he got it I would have voted for Green just because Dragic was already a decent player to begin with
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 The hat looks photoshopped in lol And good that he's cheering for the Nets
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I would have voted for Green just because Dragic was already a decent player to begin with Raptors Republic wanted Demar to gain some consideration. Didn't really agree with it.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Holy f***ing s***. http://store.nba.com/Toronto_Raptors_Gear I go to NBA store to check out, hey, maybe some playoff gear, right? And the banner on their site is of 2014 Atlantic champs, that's cool. And then the pic? Amir Johnson and ALAN f***ING ANDERSON. That's bushleague. It is entirely possible I am too worked up over this. It is equally as possible I don't give any f***s. f*** Brooklyn and f*** Anderson
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 f*** that stupid little ****. f*** BROOKLYN http://www.scmp.com/sites/default/files/styles/980w/public/2014/04/23/demar_derozan.jpg?itok=0WI4fXng

Jesus those are like hockey numbers. And this was head-to-head vs the Habs game. Yeesh.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 There is too much time between games in the nba playoffs
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 A complete meltdown by the Pacers. Too bad the Raps weren't on their side of the bracket, they would have had a good shot to get to the ECF.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 The Pacers are so overrated. Hibbert is brutal on offense. George is overrated. They're just deep. They have a lot of depth but nobody that can truly take over a game. Throw in a toxic lockerroom and you have a team that likely gets bounced in the first round.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 The Thunder are 4 minutes away from going down 2-1 as well. A lot of the favorites are dropping games early on
Frag Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 This first round is turning mighty interesting quickly.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 RaPS IN FIVE LETS GO f*** BROOKLYN
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Everything lining up perfectly. Best case scenario: Raps go on deep playoff runs in the next two years while OKC gets knocked out of the first. Durant gets frustrated and finally comes home to Toronto. Durant or die trying.

Still valuing the future, so I don't expect to see our cap tied up before then. Giving us a solid team + the cap room to go hard after Durant

Also, NY gets 1st overall pick, Denver gets 2nd overall pick which comes to us. Dream scenario. But seriously, that pick could very well end up being a top 10.

Really no bad contracts on the books (DD's looked questionable but now looks fine). Two second year players who grew leaps and bounds Lots of draft picks upcoming (20th and two 2nd rounders this year + multiple first rounders in 2016). Commitment from MLSE to go over the cap Cap space upcoming with some great FA's being available. Edited April 25, 2014 by eastcoastjaysfan

They had a ton of injuries.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Huge turnup already at Jurassic Park tonight... And Drake is also going to be there. Assuming that'll attract a few extra thousand people. Great visual for TV.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Fantastic first quarter for the Raps. Fields will be getting a ton of minutes for Ross. Great f***ng effort from Fields so far.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Great first quarter, should be up 6. Our bench has been far better so far, expecting to build on this lead with the starters out.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Atmosphere is pathetic in Brooklyn tonight. Place is dead quiet.
