Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Also, since nobody seemed to see it in the other thread, I present to you The Dickey King: http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=234&d=1372436575
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Also, since nobody seemed to see it in the other thread, I present to you The Dickey King: Don't worry, I bookmarked it lol. Whenever he makes a good start I'll use it (so not often ). It's great.
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Jays get an easy matchup today. Webster has yet to prove he can pitch vs. MLB talent.(5 HRs given up, and very hittable) More good news--Yanks are using CC Sabathia vs. the O's today--they really want the Jays to get back within 3 games.

Great, now Jays will get dominated by this guy and both the Yanks and O's will win.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 This is a pretty big game. Falling back below 0.500 would suck balls. Can't let it happen Gotta pound this rookie scrub hard
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Fatcow: You got wrong stats for our pitcher Or maybe just wrong name???
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Wow. Boston Celtics cleaned house today.

Easy matchup? Jays lose lol. Seriously though need a win today, already 7 back need to win bare minimum 2 out of the next 3, the next 3 preferrably. The jays have not been swinging good bats and have not scored in the first inning this road trip, that has to change tonight.
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Yanks are playing the O's. And Webster couldn't even beat the Twins..
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Rain out? Nope. Weather looks fine.

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Damn..That was the best we could have hoped for How is a rain out the best we could hope for in the most favorable pitching matchup of the series? http://cuddlebuggery.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Picard-Facepalm.jpg

digiblader Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 No rainout in the forecast--rain isn't expected until morning. Game on!

Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 why is kawasaki not playing second?
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 why is kawasaki not playing second? Perhaps he could not make it to Boston in time for the game.
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 What is with you people? Can't you say anything good about the Jays? I mean, Webster made Minnesota look good--and he was awful vs. Detroit. Allen Webster's peripherals are: 14.3 H/9IP, 3.8 HR/9IP, 4.5 BB/9IP, 9 SO/9IP This isn't like pitching in Pawtucket--MLB hitters will pound his stuff. Here are his average pitches he uses according to Fangraphs: Fastball: 94.7 MPH (has given 4 HRs on this pitch) Changeup 85 MPH FT 93.5 MPH Basically, hit the fastball--he doesn't have the command yet on it, and until he does, he will be hit around frequently. He also has control issues as well.
