So I dropped in to see what you guys think of the game and you're all yelling at each other...yikes!

Actually, looking at the pitching matchup going in to this game (based on the recent small sample sizes) I thought they had a really good chance at winning this game.

I don't understand how an entire lineup can slump at once, yet it happens constantly to the Jays.

 

I don't think they are really slumping..just some real good pitching against them lately

The jays are prone to slumps like this, because they have too many aggressive hitters, who simple don't have good, smart approaches at the plate. They feast off mistake pitches.

Moore could not throw strikes, neither could lester early. Jays made them look a lot better

I'd be thrilled with a split, I certainly hope they don't get swept! Coming back home 1 game over .500 would be fine.

Both of the first two games against the Rays were very hittable games that could have been very high scores on the part of the Jays. They all lost it.

 

ya that's true. Hernadez was probably the best and they won that one (thanks RA). I just don't think 4 games you can really conclude things as a slump quite yet.

Thrilled? A split would be bare minimum, hardly thrilled. 3-1 would be good or a sweep. The jays have to make up ground.
