I love our bullpen the way it is ....

 

Stop worrying about prospect porn and enjoy the fact AA has built an elite bullpen.

 

Casey has been great this year in his role.

Okay, FIP: 2.03 to 2.98 for Cecil. Miller is walking 4.85 per nine, not very good.

 

Yeah, Squints has been better, it seems. I seem to find myself looking at reliever xFIP leaderboards on fangraphs quite a bit and I know Andrew Miller is generally up there, he's pretty good, but I don't think anyone has anything on Squints right now.

Jays better plunk someone in the 9th, not like they'll face each other again in the near future.

 

The fact we don't play each other soon makes it kind of pointless to retaliate. Just take the win and move on.

But no, if we traded Janssen it should be for a young, MLB-ready contributor. From the Tigers, think Alex Avila, Rick Porcello, Drew Smyly, or maybe even Nick Castallenos lol. Someone who could come up now and help.

Every year, we kinda have one guy with this aura about him. Bautista in 2011, EE in 2012, now Lind.. it's just this impression that something special could happen at any minute. Dude is dangerous right now, loving this little hot streak.

Castellanos? Why not just go all the way and trade Janssen for Castellanos, Verlander, Fister and Scherzer? I mean, he is a 31 YO reliever after all. Who wouldn't want to trade a top prospect in baseball ++ for him?
