Cello Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Rogers' ERA down to 3.43... not bad... Rogers is the ERA leader among our starters.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 You know it's bad when rogers is your best starter
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 I thought all the bitching which went on at the other site would have ended or at least be at a bare minimum but that's not the case. It's the same crap where these individuals feel this game is an easy game to play at this level. They even feel they know what the problem is with the players and that the solution is easy - Not sure why they just don't apply for a job in baseball. It's one thing to come on a baseball forum to discuss/participate/share views on the game but when it reaches lows like this it makes it a tad unbearable. I will be starting soon to put certain individuals on ignore so I won't be subjected to their whiney, childlike behaviour. It is slowly taking away any joy which can be found here in the GDT. "This game isn't easy to play" excuse.. The negativity is warranted when a hyped up team is last place in their division and full of low IQ ball players. Win some games, negativity is gone
pewpewpewjays Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 rogers is doing so well it's boring to watch....unlike dickey who keeps everyone on their toes with frustration throughout the game.......
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 4.52 xFIP Coming into today, 5.04 xFIP as a reliever and 2.55 xFIP as a starter. SSS disclaimer as always.
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Bautista's head just isn't in the game.. At all
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Guessed fast ball or no swing. Oh well
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Rogers> Dickey Wang> Dickey Buerhle> Dickey Johnson = Dickey
IBTrini Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Seriously Boni? Your a slap hitter with speed and that's your two strike swing? HOLY f*** Seriously, give the man some slack. He got a hit previously, stole a base, and was a part of the reason why the Jays were able to tie the score. Also, he has not made an error on the field either yet you feel the need to get on his case.

BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Still guessing fastball, always getting breaking ball
OtisNixonFan Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 How good would Rogers be with a legit 3rd pitch. f*** sakes.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Why has bautista not figured out teams are going breaking ball against him yet? Always looking fastball they go breaking ball
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Bautista is one of the worst hitters on the team at times...I mean seriously the whole world knew a breaking ball was coming and he just watches it down the middle
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 How good would Rogers be with a legit 3rd pitch. f*** sakes. He's definitely looked decent as a starter, but this is a tiny, tiny sample size. Expecting this to continue would be foolhardy (though hoping that it does is perfectly fine!)

Jays Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Rogers starting to get stretched out. Pitching into the 6th now.

Cello Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Darvish 99 pitches, 54 strikes Rogers 82 pitches, 54 strikes
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 MLB needs a little shock collar for the umps. Every time they call something more than a certain amount off the plate they get a shock. Improve the game AND be entertaining.
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Give the damn pitcher some support you scrubs, he's pitching like an Ace

What has he done for the season? It would be different if Melky took that two strike swing or anyone with power really, but Boni? Is it difficult to at least shorten up,let the ball travel and use the middle or the opposite field if need be it and utilize his speed? If he approaches that 3-2 pitch in this manner,he walks. It's not like he does this on occasion,ITS ALL THE TIME. Do me a favor and put me on your ignore list. Putz..

baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 why the f*** do you swing 3-0 when you need baserunners do the jays even think for f*** sakes.
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Darvish can't throw a strike and Rasmus grounds out 3-0 What a bonehead
