That's exactly what they should have done. The last pitch or two away you could see him timing it and trying to drive it in that direction. Come in and it jambs him. Stay out there and you play with fire.

The game has got to a point where the manager feels pressured into micro managing so he can easily address his decision whether it works out or not. Prime example here with Perez dealing and Beltre due. Old time ball is gone.
