baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Yeah, I guess so. It's nice to see him have success, especially after we gave him so much rope o I know i for some reason always liked lind but last year was enough where he had to go but good thing the jays held onto him.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Can't wait for Hutch to come back... Johnson certainly will not be worth the money he's expecting to get
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 80 pitches in the 4th? Wow... does JJ not realize we had to pitch 19 innings yesterday?
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 nobody bites on johnson's junk Because he has not consistently thrown it for strikes.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I don't get the JJ hate... the guys a stud, he's just returning from injury though.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 nobody bites on johnson's junk I have a feeling this guy is going to get a lot of use with the penis jokes...
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I don't get the JJ hate... the guys a stud, he's just returning from injury though. He has not been a stud in a couple years and not with us. Until he proves it he is inconsistent and erratic.
AlexTrebek Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I don't get the JJ hate... the guys a stud, he's just returning from injury though. We probably are frustrated because he is only here for one year, has made what, 6 starts?, and has, for the most part, been terrible.
Dude Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 nobody bites on johnson's junk Hey Alex, welcome back, how about a joke? What's the difference between you and a mallard with a cold? One's a sick duck and I can't remember how it ends, but your mother's a whore
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 We probably are frustrated because he is only here for one year, has made what, 6 starts?, and has, for the most part, been terrible. I get the frustration. Now you can be even more frustrated,he's injuried again.
AlexTrebek Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Hey Alex, welcome back, how about a joke? What's the difference between you and a mallard with a cold? One's a sick duck and I can't remember how it ends, but your mother's a whore Nice one, dude.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I expected Johnson to struggle in his 2nd start. If he can go 6 that's great, but 5 is more realistic given that he just came back from an injury.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Rofl did Johnson get another ouchie boo boo? What a pussy
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Man this guy needs to suck it up, whatever it is These guys are so soft...
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Grimm kind of reminds me of Drabek. Filthy stuff, but can't command it well yet. Can make batters look ridiculous for an inning, then get hit all over the park the next one.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 LOL. BONI CAN'T LAY OFF a f***ing ball 10 feet infront of the plate...... f***ing retard, get rid of this useless f***
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 JJ USED to be a stud and he is certainly not anymore. I've watched this guy pitched easily 70 plus games and he's not even a shell of his former self. His velocity is down about 3 ticks or so, but that's the least of his problems. To be quite honest, I see the "romero" syndrome in him although not as exaggerated. He became so used to getting no run support that he's got it in his head that he has to be perfect and as soon as someone hit him hard, he completely falls apart. I watched him do it a dozen times last year. In the games where his command was good and the team scored for him, he didn't get rattled and he was able to get through with good pitch counts. As soon as he gave up a few hard hit balls or a long homerun, he fell apart mentally completely. That last inning after the Cruz homerun, he threw over 20 pitches to get an out of of .200 hitters and Thole had to stand up at least three times to even catch his fastball. He is a disaster waiting to happen and I really hope that we don't resign him unless he willing to sign for 6 million a year as our no. 5. Other than that, I'd say goodbye and good riddance.
AlexTrebek Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Man this guy needs to suck it up, whatever it is These guys are so soft... Ya, he's such a pussy. I'm sure if you had structural damage in your arm you'd just keep huckin' em, eh
Cello Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 JJ 82 pitches, 48 strikes Grimm 73 pitches, 47 strikes
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Lol can Bonafacio ever catch up to a ball? f***ing fast ball down the middle just fouls everything off Then strikes out
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 wtf is boni this dumb? He swings at everything in the dirt. TAke a pitch.
