fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Esmil Rogers silenced critics as he pitched 4 mighty solid innings, and the BP finished the game off well with 6 innings of their own striking out 7 and giving up 1 hit and no walks. Bautista's still slumping, although he did have a walk to load the bases and did score on Lind's sac fly. Cabrera went back to hitting after going 3-4 with an absolute bomb and EE kept hitting in the clutch with a big 2 RBI double to give the Jays their go ahead runs. Scoring Plays: Top of the 1st: Rangers score (Rangers lead 1-0): After a balk by Esmil Rogers moving Profar to 2nd, Adrian Beltre singles up the middle to cash in Profar Bottom of the 4th: Jays score (tied 1-1): Melky Cabrera hits an absolute BOMB to right field, hitting his 3rd homer of the year! Bottom of the 6th: Jays score (Jays lead 3-1): After Kawazaki got hit in the foot and Cabrera hit his 2nd hit of the game, Bautista will walk to load the bases for Encarnacion, who belts a go-ahead double to the gap in left-center! Jays score (Jays lead 4-1): Lind smacks a sac fly to right field, Bautista scores and EE advances to 3rd Jays score (Jays lead 5-1): Encarnacion scores on a sac fly to deep center from JP Arencibia Bottom of the 6th: Jays score (Jays lead 6-1): On a 3-2 pitch to Melky with two down, Kawazaki goes on the pitch that is grounded hard reaching deep right field and scores all the way from first! Melky's out trying to get back to first Box Scores: http://i.imgur.com/fIZYPfr.png http://i.imgur.com/w2fmk3H.png

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Darvish tomorrow That would be impressive if we got to Darvish I'm afraid it's more likely we put up record strikeouts and help him pad his stats. He's the MLB strikeout leader by a large margin. 111 for Darvish. No one else is over 100.
