GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 so far behind...just catching up. Everything I heard this morning was correct and we took bickford. I'll scan back and see reaction to it when I get a chance. Broke my f***ing nose tonight I think...so I'm pretty sore and bleeding still Jesus f***, feel better bro!
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I'd bet Beane took McKinney because they're both named Billy lol.
ace3113 Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Nice!! Thanks. That was a huge guess. I have no idea what Oakland is going to do anymore. They're less predictable than in the moneyball days.
ace3113 Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 San Francisco usually goes college guessing Judge here.
imsorry4beatinU Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Harold Reynolds actually said something right Wow.(mind blown)
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I really want Clarkin. Clarkin, Stanek, Manea. One of these guys. I'd flip if we got one. But the only one we have a shot at is Clarkin because of f***ing Boras.
over500 Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 McKinney = redneck = Rasmus My Mexican brother, why do you never construct a full sentence?
imsorry4beatinU Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Yankees will eat up Stanek and Maneaa
ace3113 Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 McKinney makes me think of Christian Yellich. Don't think he'll be that good but great hitter.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 God Mlb Draft is boring, they should allow trading of picks like in the nba and nfl. Trading draft picks means that JPR and AA would have traded our picks away out of desperation... I don't want that.
imsorry4beatinU Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 so who are the remaining players your really high on that could land to the jays pick?
ace3113 Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Arroyo!!! Holy crap the pre-draft rumors were true. lol One of the best pure hs bats. I wanted him in round 4.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Who's that boy called Bronson Arroyo?
ace3113 Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Is Reynolds here because they didn't want to have an all white panel. Hes horrendous. I think he just told Mayo to meet him in the parking lot. lol:p
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 so who are the remaining players your really high on that could land to the jays pick? Whitson, Milone, Clarkin, Stanek, Manea. I'll say Jagielo to Yankees, he's been connected to them a lot. +1.
ace3113 Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Who's that boy called Bronson Arroyo? Keith Law: Christian Arroyo Arroyo has received some late-spring buzz as a potential first-round pick, although his offensive upside is somewhat limited and he's not going to stay at shortstop. At the plate, he overstrides and shifts his hips early, keeping his hands back and making up for some mechanical inconsistencies with quick hands and good bat speed. There's likely more power in his bat if he can stay back instead of drifting over his front side. He has good arm strength but is a below-average runner and doesn't have the footwork to stay at shortstop; he could move to second base or even behind the plate. I don't see him as better than a mid-second round talent, because of his crudeness at the plate and need for a new position, but for a team willing to take the longest view he could go in the top 50 picks. Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 "Hey we need a voice over guy for our Baseball America commercial, anyone know a guy with a really bad lisp?"
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I think Denney ends up a Yankee but if he slipped to us..
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 KC going to still get Stanek with their next pick after saving money with Dozier?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Keith Law: Thanks Rafael Belliard ceiling
Tuco Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I like that O's pick Bundy - Gausman - Harvey is a very nice exciting core to a rotation
ace3113 Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Philip Ervin probably to the Reds. Nice.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Phillip Ervin Comp Span and McCutchen lol
ace3113 Verified Member Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 St. Louis: Pitcher: Bobby Wahl Hitter: Travis Demeritte
