deadlee Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 KImbrel pretty much walks the first 2 batters... over 13 pitches...and Messrs. Izzie and Boni take all of 2 pitches for 2 fly outs! FFS.. what is up with the IQ on this team!
bowld Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 felt like we deserved better than that. guys played a good game after an ugly defensive first innning
Cello Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Jays = The 2nd AL team to register 30 losses WTF
btmi Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Gibby can't f***ing manage a bullpen. just like Farrell. Jesus f***ing christ. Thad Weber? Really?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 You have to think Weber will be DFA'd. We need relief pitching and he's not available.
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 well, just have to find a way to win the next 2
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Izturis and Thad Webber Big shout out to Rasmus for not taking 3-1 Stupid baseball is contagious
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Runner on second Gotta score at least 1
admin Site Manager Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 That was horrendous. Why the f*** are Izturis and Bonifacio on a major league baseball team. This game is on Gibbons though bringing in Thad Weber in the 10th. Decisions like that should get you fired. Same s*** Farrell did last year. How f***ing dumb do you have to be.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Gibby can't f***ing manage a bullpen. just like Farrell. Jesus f***ing christ. Thad Weber? Really? Listen up idiot, Jannsen is injured. But keep whining for the sake of whining.
Cello Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Thanks AA Thanks Thad Webber DFA that f***er like you plan too, after he's cost us a victory. Never. AA will replace Esmil Rogers with Thad Webber in the starting rotation if Rogers falters tomorrow.
jaysfaithful8 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Freeman play for Team Canada please. Seems like a nice guy and a good player.
btmi Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Runner on second Gotta score at least 1 runner on second with 1 out and one of the best relievers in baseball on the mound?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I have to believe that Jansen is injured. Why else would Gibby bring in Weber?
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Listen up idiot, Jannsen is injured. But keep whining for the sake of whining. If he's injured, put him on the DL and bring up someone that's not absolutely terrible (Cerrano?)
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I have to believe that Jansen is injured. Why else would Gibby bring in Weber? WTF was he thinking if Janssen is not injured? There is no save opportunity in extra, if we score the game would have been over. idiot. Brutal, another win we gave away with bad defense, base runnning and questionable bull pen moves. Still 8 below .500, cannot climb out and we have 2 on the road. Season is done.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Izturis again swings at the first pitch like a moron.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Lind pinch hitter for DeRosa and let Izturis and Boni hit against Kimbrel.
Cello Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 This has nothing to do with Gibbons and everything to do with AA. +1. Those are the junkyard waiver scraps picked up by AA.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 If he's injured, put him on the DL and bring up someone that's not absolutely terrible (Cerrano?) Of course. But for all we know Jannsen wasn't feeling good sometime throughout this game and had to shut it down. You can't call a guy from Buffalo at the start of the game and expect him to be ready by the 9th.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 No reason Neil Wagner, Juan Perez, and Joel Carreno shouldn't be here. Numbers are dirty in the minors. Wagner is throwing 101 MPH and hes in Triple-A. I agree. But this loss has nothing to do on Gibbons. Blame AA.

Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Frustrating. Feels like the team has been playing well, but still 12-13 in May. ?? How are they playing well? They are hitting well, unfortunately that's only 1 part of baseball, defense, pitching, fundamentals still horrid.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 To be fair, Carreno had good numbers before his call up last year (or in 2011) and he absolutely s*** the bed.
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Frustrating. Feels like the team has been playing well, but still 12-13 in May. Its hard to improve when you only have two healthy starters and both have ERAs over 4.50.
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 They've been playing better lately, but not getting great results. The only team they looked completely outmatched by recently was the Yankees (former Jays), but other than that series they've played well. Things are slowly getting better, but we need some people to get healthy.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Roster move expected? - @Wilnerness590: Just a bit. I'm expecting a roster move any minute. @1967ers: @Wilnerness590 Bit of a tired bullpen heading into an Esmil Rogers start.
