Orioles::

• Adam Jones started at DH on Wednesday while dealing with soreness in his groin, though he could return to center field in Toronto.
  
• Nolan Reimold will miss the series because of a strained hamstring.
  
• It is Kevin Gausman's MLB debut tonight. The 4th overall pick of the 2012 MLB Draft, he is the first pitcher to make it to the MLB, beating out players like Michael Waka, Marcus Stroman, and Mike Zunino.
  

 

Jays:

• The Blue Jays enter the weekend series against the division-rival Orioles with a 10-18 record against the American League East.
  
• The Blue Jays are coming off of their first series win in over 16 tries versus Tampa Bay.

I don't know if this is statistically correct, but I feel like anytime the jays face a pitcher making their big league debut, they just get owned.

To be fair, it happens with most teams, but it does seem like it happens to us more.

Plus this guy is pretty decent, and our offense likes to disappear at times. I'm a little worried.

Big league debuts usually don't go past the sixth inning whether they are good or bad. Hopefully we can make their pen throw 4 innings and help us for the other games in the series.
