ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Arencibia displays too much swagger for a guy that calls terrible games , is a liability defensively and has no idea how to work a count. I think you can say the same about several on this team, especially given their w-l record. Yes, I'm looking at you Bonifacio and Lawrie. Well at least Lawrie plays good D. There are some really likable moves made by Gibbons, but he does like homeruns. I'd like to think he recognizes that JPA is a liability, but I have my doubts. I mean, why is Lind not hitting cleanup and JPA is? They certainly didn't win yesterday because of their offense, hate to break it him, they won because they pitched well.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I put this in the OT thread but who cares, Alex, best manager/coach in history? Or st let most winningest? Best. He was a successful coach with many superstar players, had to build the teams himself, and ran a very successful youth academy that churned out guys like Beckham, Scholes, Giggs and the Neville brothers. He did it all and was extremely successful doing it.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Did you take your boy to the game? No. Guys trip.
declan_44 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 No. Guys trip. Good, have a good time getting pissed then
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 you've never heard of Sir Alex Ferguson??? living under a rock? Soccer sucks.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 This 2013 moron and he's stunk so far. What happened last year is not helping right now
Randy The Robot Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 it's a big moment in sports history. the most successful manager in soccer history is going out with a championship. he's been one of the most successful in terms of any sports franchise. hate the sport if you like, but it's a rare sports moment that should be covered. - Soccer is worst than watching paint dry.

He did it all and was extremely successful doing it. Jesper Blomqvist won a title with United, Milan, Göteborg. he was asked which manager was best and why. he picked Ferguson and explained that no manager he had worked with made an individual feel more empowered to do well within the team strategy. every player felt they would succeed and felt they had 100% confidence from the manager, but dont screw up and be on the other end of Ferguson. wish we had a manager who could motivate players the way Ferguson did. LETS GO BLUE JAYS!!!
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Jays panic as soon as they fall behind.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Dempster got away with one there to Bautista
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I was assured that Melky would not strike out against Dempster.

Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 How did JP miss that Dempster does not throw hard
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 JPA swings at ball four a foot off the plate. mental midget!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Made him throw a lot of pitches, but that was still a bad AB mentally... Man JP is slow
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Dempster tries to walk JPA repeatedly, but JPawful refuses.
magits Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 JPA swings at 3 pitches off the plate, wow.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Lind should've been hitting there, then again, he might've walked and JPA would still be hitting 5th, at least Dempster would've thrown more pitches
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Why does Jp keep swinging at ball 4? Take the walk for crying out loud
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I have to think Gibbons will have a very short leash on Jenkins given the day off tomorrow and Dickey and Morrow back to back followed by another day off.
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 You guys are ridiculous. JP had the best AB of the inning and he fouled off some good pitches.
