Doubt it'll happen. AA made a promise to the Buffalo franchise that he'd give them a competitive team so calling up Negrych would be going against that promise. AA also doesn't want to admit that he made mistakes in Boni and Izturis.

This is my hope as well. I think there are enough pieces here to do a re-tool rather than a tear down, but only if AA acknowledges our predicament.

 

I don't think pretending we're still in it makes any sense from a roster perspective. I'm sure stranger things have happened and there's a miniscule chance we could still get to the playoffs, but I certainly wouldn't try to force the issue at this point.

I agree. Although I have to say I'm becoming increasingly skeptical of AA's GMing abilities. Will he recognize the right thing to do?

 

Luckily I don't think Rogers would sign off on a total tear down at this point. They just invested quite a bit in this team and I doubt they would want it blown up so soon. I suspect we're going to get some retooling and go for it again next year.
