havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 "Lester Vs Ortiz Buchholz Vs Buehrle" Yikes.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Lester Vs Ortiz Buchholz Vs Buehrle Dempster Vs Morrow sweep This is depressing.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I can't believe this team is actually throwing Ramon Ortiz against the Red Sox. LOL John Farrel must be REALLY liking dem apples right now.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 this is depressing. 13-26 = 1/3% w

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 I might be a bit late with the GDT tomorrow (but still before the game starts) kinda busy during the time that I do it so If it's not up at it's typical pre-4 o'clock time, don't freak out!

Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Just thinking about tomorrows game is pretty sad. I am expecting one team to score in the double digits, but I won't say which one.
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Not with the current struggles with the Red Sox who have lost 6 of their last 7--they just lost to lesser pitchers with the Twins. Lester is struggling right now, Buchholz showed signs of trouble in his last start, and no idea on Dempster.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 It's funny though because I've actually seen great improvements in the position players in May... - Starting to hit w/ RISP - Starting to hit non HR w/ RISP - Starting to hit in general - Starting to take some walks - Starting to be pretty good defensively Naturally all of the above has come about while our pitching has turned to ass-crack garbage.
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Could be either team--Lester gave up 6 runs vs. the Jays last time. And no idea on Ramon Ortiz..

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 travis d'arnaud and noah syndergaard Syndergaard with another excellent start tonight and looking good so far this year.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 This is not a good pitching staff period. I think so many of us wanted to believe that JJ's injury history was behind him. That Buehrle's struggles against the ALE were a result of SSS. That Dickey would pitch almost as well as last year. That Morrow would build pitch the way he pitched last year for the whole season. That Reyes' would play all year without getting injured. We can go on and on. The offseason, ill-advised gambles are not paying off.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Syndergaard with another excellent start tonight and looking good so far this year. No where near as good as Sanchez
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 No where near as good as Sanchez Now you have done it. TJS for Sanchez soon.....
