Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Wilner just said he's coming back Wednesday. w00t
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 You guys are late... Yep. 20 seconds late. Just like the Bruins.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I'm glad it's over with, I guess AA had to watch Reyes play in person to make sure #superscoutNinjAA...lol. It'll be interesting to see what the roster move will be. I really hope they freaking win tomorrow!
flafson Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 That's weird though, we are playing a day game on Wednesday, is it possible he will play on Wednesday? I guess i was right that AA didn't want to mess with a winning team and since we stopped winning today... Reyes vacation is over.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 So he's getting the day off tomorrow but will be with the team? Weird.

Leave your best player in the minors because he can only hurt the team
flafson Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 LOL why do ppl keep thinking this, so stupid. Leave your best player in the minors because he can only hurt the team Not because Reyes can hurt the team, but because whoever goes down COULD affect the winning mentality. I know that many of the "experts" been saying that it's not the case but i don't buy it, sorry.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Reyes traded to Tampa for Rodney. Bullpen depth bro. Reyes will join the team in Tampa, but play for the other team. Kawasaki signed to a lifetime contract extension The Kawasaki part could be true to be honest, so far his wage demands been in the range of FREE. When he came from Japan he announced that he will only play for Seattle even if it means playing for free, that's exactly what they gave him, a minor league contract.

I know that many of the "experts" been saying that it's not the case but i don't buy it, sorry. the "winning mentality" comes from good starting pitching and clutch hitting, everyone thats making an impact on the field is safe from being sent down so I don't know what you're talking about

flafson Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 BTW, i heard that Kawasaki's wife is expecting a baby soon and he plans to fly her over to Toronto and have her baby here in Canada.
LightsOut Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Kawasaki. smh, from AA: “Our clubhouse is strong enough, our talent is strong enough that with all due respect to whether it’s Kawasaki or a reliever or some other player, we’ll be fine.”
LightsOut Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 BTW, i heard that Kawasaki's wife is expecting a baby soon and he plans to fly her over to Toronto and have her baby here in Canada. really isn't it bad for pregnant women to fly
flafson Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I don't know, that's what they said. I didn't even know he had a wife, let a lone a pregnant one.
SAAviour Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Seems weird to announce this, but not for tommorow but for Wednesday. I agree something might be going on. Perhaps AA has a couple trades lined up and is letting the opposing teams know they have till Wednesday to sweeten the deal.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I could see Boni being shipped off to the NL for a bag of balls and a free foot massage for AA.

Gives ample time to rest and access his play for the boston game instead of going back to back (tuesday to wednesday) in less than 24 hours.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 So now, it'll be interesting to see what the Jays do? I hope for a Melky DL, who knows?!?! melky has been moving like a bloody gimps for almost the whole season. he needs a couple weeks to heal and then bring him back. Reyes can take the lead off, Boni and Davis can platoon LF and Kawasaki and the Derosa can platoon 2nd. the mouse on Third. better than watching Melky do his 50 yard weez and piss himself routine. if he was hitting 400 in june it might be hard to DL him, but he's been shyte.

Immigration typically doesn't take kindly to non-canadian pregnant women entering the country for the sole purpose of having a baby. Although, We could use a canadian Kawasaki in our midsts

"I'm visiting my husband, you know, the incredibly popular baseball player..." is plausible.
