I love Matt Shoemaker. Glad I held in LOD, but there was no chance I was holding in a 20-team league.

Instead of dropping him, I might've gave you something worthwhile.

Pick 31 could also be had, possibly for a 2017 2nd from a mediocre-to-bad team or 2017 1st from a good team. Possibly for a good reliever. Edited by BTS

82/90/110 up for waiver upgrades, if you need picks. My top picks are available for MLB pitching, willing to throw in 2 picks for the right pitcher, etc, that's basically a possible 3 top 1st round picks for a studly guy. #10/12 and 22!!!

I always pay/trade high... ask others, whom traded with me.

CarGo dropping an 1.800 OPS on TCA's face was pretty funny after how many times he's been so, so close to acquiring him.

Gleyber Torres, SS, Chicago Cubs

Torres imploded in April, hitting .179/.289/.308, which caused quite a bit of consternation among dynasty owners. At just 19 years old in High-A, though, it should’ve been obvious that more patience was needed before offering any long-term judgment on the young man. Unfortunately, few fantasy baseball connoisseurs are blessed with ample patience, and people began wondering if they should cut ties with Torres.

He erupted in May, hitting .306/.353/.519 with six doubles and five homers. The Venezuelan native even swiped a half-dozen bags for good measure. All of this should’ve reminded fantasy owners that Torres is young, is allowed to struggle, and is talented enough to adjust and flourish. The Prospect Team lauded his “exceptional” feel for hitting, which has been abundantly clear over the past month.

For those still focusing on overall slash lines, he’s been nothing but decent: .259/.332/.438. That ignores his age, his level, and his recent performance, which would all make that slash line look a bit more promising. It’s worth testing the waters and seeing if dynasty owners are treating Torres like the top-30 prospect that he is… or whether they’ve focused too much on his rough start and are willing to trade for a discounted price.

If fantasy owners are treating him as anything other than a stud prospect: buy now.

Currently on the block, buy much buy often!

Pm'd you.

That display picture looks like a greasy car salesman. Very fitting for you.

well if anyone is up to grab a beer or something before the game, I'd be down. I always get jelly when you guys get to meet up and shoot the s*** about baseball. I'm not sure anyone in Brandon actually knows what FIP is... maaaaaaybe Sammy... maybe

Anybody selling a big fish out there? I'm thinking about packaging Sean Manaea + Trea Turner for a largemouth bass.

Both can reasonably be promoted by a rebuilding team, so they won't clog up the farm.

Package could also include someone like Jose Reyes, Francisco Liriano, Jonathan Villar, Kyle Hendricks, Drew Pomeranz, Raisel Iglesias... well anybody really.

That should help out your rebuild!

Can you rebuild that which has never been built?

Thehurl's team actually seems really good on e-paper, lol.

How can you own Jose Fernandez and Noah Syndergaard and Springer/Hosmer, and even some of those other guys, and be like 18th out of 20? lol

lol? lol

I'm cutting Michael Lorenzen. Probably gonna make more cuts before the draft depending on whether or not I trade J.P. Crawford.
