Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Dallas Keuchel Keuchel: 7.3 K/9, 3.06 K/BB, 64.2% GB, 2.17/3.06/2.87 Some other lefty: 6 K/9, 4.57 K/BB, 67.2% GB, 1.69/3.03/2.97 They even have pretty similar repertoires. Twinsies!

Twinsies! Love Jaime. Must feel amazing getting a borderline ace from a throwaway player (though obviously Jaime had always been really good when he actually does pitch.) By the way, you can admit you're attached. You'd have to be a robot to not be in love with Jaime on your team at this point.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I'm totally attached! Not Jose Fernandez obsessed, but really quite smitten. And not to take away from Keuchel's moment-in-time acehood, but Jaime's career numbers are better pretty much across the board.

Laika Community Moderator Posted June 26, 2015 Author Posted June 26, 2015 lol, Rendon is hurt again. That's what, his third independent injury this year?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 lol, Rendon is hurt again. That's what, his third independent injury this year? I'm going to say he's out for the season with this one. Bare minimum, 6 weeks.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 lol, Rendon is hurt again. That's what, his third independent injury this year? I love the guy, but with 3B eligibility only next year I put him middle of the 3B pack now
BTS Community Moderator Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 catsass is going to miss the playoffs again lol
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 catsass is going to miss the playoffs again lol This was probably going to happen anyway.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Sorry Boxcar. Cornelius Randolph - OF - Phillies Phillies prospect OF Cornelius Randolph reached base in each of his four plate appearances Thursday in his professional debut for the Gulf Coast League Phillies. Randolph went 3-for-3 with a triple, RBI and walk in the game. The Phillies selected the 18-year-old with the No. 10 overall pick in this year’s draft and gave him a signing bonus of $3,231,300. An infielder in high school, Randolph already has been moved to the outfield, potentially giving him a more direct route to the major leagues than if he were to stay at either shortstop or third base. Regardless of his defensive home, Randolph’s excellent bat is what will make him an impact player for years to come.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 The Phillies are so derp, it's neverending.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 lol, Rendon is hurt again. That's what, his third independent injury this year? This sucks so f***ing much. I'm going to have to have a drink because of this.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 He played more games at 2nd than he did 3rd. He's started at least 10 games at 2B this year, so he'll retain it in Yahoo for 2016.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Whys that bad? The part where he's not a shortstop or even an infielder any more? You don't see how that decimates his value? Alright.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 The part where he's not a shortstop or even an infielder any more? You don't see how that decimates his value? Alright. Decimates is a strong word. I wasn't counting on him staying at short, and the bottom line for me is just him being a productive player. I'm not gonna worry about what position he settles into 4 years from now as long as he's simply in a position to settle into something.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 catsass is going to miss the playoffs again lol At what point in the season is it safe to throw in the towel and try rebuilding for next year? And at this rate Boxy is going to make the playoffs before I do.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Decimates maybe is strong, since I think technically that means it destroyed 90% of his value. I think it only destroyed like 60-70% of his value, cause now he's just a HS OF bat in rookie ball. The chance for him to be an above replacement level fantasy producer at his position just dropped significantly.

And at this rate Boxy is going to make the playoffs before I do. Pretty much any time now, but who would you even really sell? Rendon, Puig, Gomez, Jones, Felix, Stras, and Longo should all be untouchable. I'd maybe look to sell A-Gon or Iwakuma if you can get nice prospects for them, and I'd certainly look to sell high on Ubaldo. But other than that, your team is mostly hold guys.
