NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Rondon is a pretty good reliever with no real flaws and a pretty locked down closing gig. Would own again. His only flaws are that he recently sat out nearly three years recovering from elbow injuries. A very effective reliever.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Anyone looking for an .840 OPS 2B who is only 28 years old? Logan Forsythe is your man. I will move him for the best pick offered to me.

Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 FWIW I have a Forsythe offer. If I don't receive a better offer by the end of today, he will be sold.

Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I bet it's NJH or BTS. He would fit BTS' team like a glove. Especially considering he has 1B eligibility, and currently has a higher OBP than Abreu.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Anybody remember former top prospect Mike Montgomery? He's making his debut tonight for the M's. Kinda interested to see what his stuff is like now. He was a big part of the Royals future when they had the most highly touted farm in baseball, along with Gordon, Hoz, Moose, and Duffy.

Yes, I grabbed him in the initial MiLB draft. Thought he was an okay buy-low at the time. Should be interesting.

He'll probably amount to nothing, but Safeco is a decent place to establish value and he's actually been pretty good in the PCL. Sometimes these guys get written off and end up being useful, like Arrieta, deGrom, and Richards.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 So i got 2 stud SS prospects and one of them could be had if there is the right deal to be had. I am not going to say who is going to be better out of Crawford and Lindor but that can be up to you. I am looking for SP or some Outfield help. Let me know.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Yup, I agree as a Lindor owner. My condolences. Though I never really understood why anyone liked Lindor in a fantasy setting at all.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 My condolences. Though I never really understood why anyone liked Lindor in a fantasy setting at all. Grant did, I wanted Glasnow/Taillon, IIRC.

Above average hit tool and speed, advanced for age, walks at a decent clip. He could be a leadoff hitter and will never move off SS. Obviously there won't be much power, but it's also not a total slap hitter. He could be Andrus with a slightly better stick and less speed. I think he'll be fantasy relevant but never a star. Maybe something like .275/.350/.390 with 25 steals and 80-90 runs.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Oh, and Ortiz can eat a dick! What did Ortiz do?

I remember after the initial draft you said you weren't interested in shortstop help because Lindor would be up soon. Still waiting haha. Crawford is really promising.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 What did Ortiz do? That was meant for the #LoD...he hasn't been what I expected, that's all. Morneau and Crisp have made me throw up in my mouth a bit, Crisp gone forever, Morneau dealing with concussion issues again, I'm going to be leap frogged bigtime in that Central division.

I'm surprised Lindor isn't up yet, he has nothing left to prove in the minors and can be a 70 defender right now.

Sonny has done more than i thought he would to be honest it ended up better then expected i think.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Hey if Indians want to keep a blackhole a SS who am i to judge.... Dumbasses Lindor is projected for a 70ish wRC+. He's basically Ryan Goins with a slightly better HIT TEWL, and less of a track record against ADVUNSED PEETCHIN
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 He hasn't proved that he can hit...but you know other than that He's got what, a 105 wRC+ and 10% BB rate as an underaged SS in AAA? What more do you really want? He's not Cal Ripken. Let him provide defensive value and hit at the bottom of the order, nobody should expect him to be an offensive force.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Lindor is projected for a 70ish wRC+. He's basically Ryan Goins with a slightly better HIT TEWL, and less of a track record against ADVUNSED PEETCHIN Fun Fact: Lindor has put up a higher wRC+ in the upper minors than Jesse Winker has. While one is a SS and the other is a corner outfielder.
