Prospects r dum Can't decide which post to post. 1) Don't stat scout too hard, Boxy. Any real scout would trade Pollock for Appel. or 2) Let me know the next time you stumble upon a decent bat. I've got some fringe prospects that I could clear out. thoughts?
TRM Verified Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I'm not gonna lie, I haven't even checked in on Appel since I traded him... not pretty.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 I'm not gonna lie, I haven't even checked in on Appel since I traded him... not pretty. You mean you don't obsessively monitor the ones you trade away? What is wrong with you...
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Appel looks like a possible 3/4 workhorse type. Never understood the appeal in a 20-team league.

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I'm not gonna lie, I haven't even checked in on Appel since I traded him... not pretty. I hadn't either, ouch. Yeah I'm regretting that trade already. I really thought I was buying low. Prospects r dum Three owners in a short timespan tried to buy low on him lol. I liked Appel in the mid-rotation workhorse role that BTS touched on and thought he could make a splash this season. But that outlook wasn't enough to give me pause in moving him to Min. I was actually surprised when you traded for Appel and then said you were high on him, since you told me this when I said I would look to flip him: Don't come to me with those smelly guys.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Appel has no killer instinct; #3 ceiling.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Appel has no killer instinct; #3 ceiling. Is that from your BP handbook?

Prospects r dum I'm going through that right now I've got someone http://news.bme.com/wp-content/uploads/200705081558-pix1.jpg offering me two high upside guys. But I've got someone else http://www.getoutdoorscolorado.org/sites/default/files/activity_images/colorado-rockies-dinger.jpg offering me some proven commodities who have little upside and one nice piece. I should just create a poll.

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Synder's a great prospect but forearm pain 2 years running = yikes, with that velo he must be the most obvious timebomb going right? Not when said pitching prospect has the body of a god
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 Synder's a great prospect but forearm pain 2 years running = yikes, with that velo he must be the most obvious timebomb going right? He's a scary one. Also initiates trunk rotation while his PAS forearm is still horizontal + his second toe is >1cm longer than his big toe. Both of those are huge mechanical red flags.

Or don't I wanna know

I'm not sure who you are parodying but I want you to know I am enjoying it.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 Tyson Ross probably is my most obvious timebomb going though
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 (edited) I'm not sure who you are parodying but I want you to know I am enjoying it. Inverted W champion Chris O'Leary Follow him on twitter for wonderful laughs like such as how we should have all seen Cliff Lee's elbow issues coming because he twists his wrist a bit when throwing certain pitches. Or, how Ottavino was doomed because he was a "heel lander" with his front foot. Edited May 21, 2015 by Laika

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 TCA has been the easiest guy in the pool to deal with for me. You just need to speak Acadian. TCA isn't Acadian, I am.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 TCA isn't Acadian, I am. He's a 902 area code...that's Acadian to me The deal is: Noah Syndergaard Tyler Glasnow Chris Collabello pick 19 first round waiver for Evan Longoria #66 5th round waiver will be official soon. I have to make moves on my farm to make space
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 TCA, wanna trade that to mw for Seager instead?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Dinger (who is also very easy to deal with) just want to say thanks for negotiating and you tugged at my Rays heart strings. It came down to how many pools i already have the pitchers you offered in.
