z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Anyone want to trade for Ender Inciarte? He's been a decent source of hits, runs, and SB this year and has a hold of some good playing time. Would accept a pick for him as I'm going to be crunched for roster space.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Ryu has season-ending shoulder surgery. Glad I got off him while I could, geez.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Ryu has season-ending shoulder surgery. Glad I got off him while I could, geez. Ryu's been passed around like a cheap whore.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Can some commish remove Davidson from BTs' farm? I added him to mine but couldnt remove from his.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 If I didn't sort of kind of run this stupid league I probably would. You agree that it's lame as f though, right? I mean, just f***ing accept or reject it... even if you say "Changed my mind, I can't do it right now", then that's fine. If you double change your mind you can offer it back. I can't really understand what is going on tbh
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I can't really understand what is going on tbh I'm guessing nicky offered Scherzer to JB for FF, and JB has been hemming and hawing, as he's wont to do. Or maybe Scherzer for Longo, which really wouldn't make much sense for Hurl.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Well, tonight is Kelly's last night with LOB, so I can only assume Choo is going to annihilate him repeatedly.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 True, nicky has a huge boner for Tulo.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Who doesn't have a boner for Tulo.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Tulo has really sucked this year, and it's surprising. He's got a .319 wOBA, and that's with a .351 BABIP. More alarmingly, his walk rate is at Almorian levels, the power is lacking, and he's requested a trade out of Coors. When his inevitable injury hits, the wheels might really fly off.
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Well, tonight is Kelly's last night with LOB, so I can only assume Choo is going to annihilate him repeatedly. Decent chance you'll be able to pick him up off the waiver wire in a few weeks if you want a reunion.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Ya, he hasn't been his self this year for sure. Atleast he's been mostly healthy though. Did he end up requesting for a trade out of Coors? Last I remember he decided he wanted to stay http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/05/troy-tulowitzki-will-not-ask-for-trade-from-rockies.html
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I think he wants the FO to get their s*** together more than anything.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 So Vogt went back to average pretty much just as BTS traded for him. Bogaerts breakout forthcoming!
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 So Vogt went back to average pretty much just as BTS traded for him. Bogaerts breakout forthcoming! Since the trade he has a 109 wRC+ on a 0.167 BABIP with a 17.5% BB rate and 17.5% K-rate and 2 HR in 40 PA. Your dumn.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 He's not even close to the best player you got in that deal, I'm just bitter I didnt get him.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 He's not even close to the best player you got in that deal, I'm just bitter I didnt get him. But he doesn't have a 5 year+ track record of consistent production
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 But he doesn't have a 5 year+ track record of consistent production Normally I like 1.5 seasons before I buy in, depending on the cost.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 True, nicky has a huge boner for Tulo. Huge is relative
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 speaking of huge boners...I got one for this guy
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 How's his handshake tho? Right behind Kyle Schwarber's Actually we went straight to bro hug
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I'm considering starting Dickey tomorrow: bad idea? Or the worst idea?
TRM Verified Member Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I'm considering starting Dickey tomorrow: bad idea? Or the worst idea? You should definitely do this.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 I'm considering starting Dickey tomorrow: bad idea? Or the worst idea? Trust your gunt.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 The joke has layers 1 - gunt instead of gut, funny in itself, because you expect gut but I use a similar but dirtier word. irony 2 - implies that he has a ****, funny because he is a man
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Ah sorry to spoil, just hadn't heard that since hs. Speaking of, is there anything better than dropping a C-bomb in anger? Mouths drop, conversations stop. I dropped it at a customer at Tims last month (she was acting like a **** though). In my first and only attempt at stand up (25 years ago, went really bad) about half of my routine was about what a great word **** was...and how it loses something if you say it with a soft c. It lead me and some of my friends to changing a lot of Hard C words to soft c. How easily I was entertained in my 20's. Then again I still have a big smile on my face as I think about it.
