Not missing adds is my biggest objective this year. I think that's the key to a quick turn-around.

 

The key is to sever all ties to any real life loved ones, and learn to live on poptarts while extracting vitamin D from the effervescent glow of the laptop light at 3am.

I just got off the phone with the Clearwater Threshers group sales rep (a Canadian girl from Calgary). Seeing as the Rays won't give my school group going to the area a tour, or a deal on tickets (there is a reason they only have 12K a game), I approached Clearwater who are closest team with a home game that week (Bradenton is on the road, and we are already getting a pretty sweet package from the Tampa Yankees) about a group package. This woman went so far beyond what we expected. We'll be (assuming my prof confirms) getting the Hooters in the dugout seats (it is an extension of the dugout with 40 seats served by Hooters waitresses). The really cool part is that one of us will get to throw out the first pitch. Costs are $0 unless we want an all you can drink option (which I don't think we can do as 4 people going on the trip aren't 21). Just a cool story I wanted to share. I still hate the Phillies but I can pretend for a day. Anyway any Threshers knees you want me to take out (it's the Phillies org so there isn't much there, unless they hold back Effin or Nola) I can be bought.

I've lived in Leaside my whole life. I also went to high school at LHS.

 

Hurl and I mutually know a slightly deluded but well intentioned guy who refers to himself as the Leaside Legend. It's a running joke we have.

I would assume that I'd be the favourite to throw out that first pitch (unless one of the girls wants to do it). Unless we do it by draw.

I may have to ice down after. I can still throw a frisbee 70 yards, so if they give me a disc there is hope. I have a friend who is already taking wagers on how bad I blow this. Roster resource has Knapp as their catcher...I might make him work.

Somehow, I would be more comfortable with this conversation if BAM! was a euphemism for punching them in the face.
