It's pretty s*****, but I have two other dynasty teams in the semis next week to think about now. My FC team has a lot of the same guys as Min's team (Holliday, Kuroda, Samardzija, Haren, Nathan), so I'll be cheering for him to upset TnT.

The two players I got in that deal were both Top 20 players this year and don't figure to retire any time soon. I'm actually fine with it.

I would have regretted more if I didn't trade Fernandez and fell short this year, wondering what if. I built the best team in the league (league consensus, not my words). The best team doesn't always win, that's baseball.

Truth be told, I think I lost more value in the Lee deal, although it didn't cost me in the playoffs.

Don't be too disheartened Dinger, you still had a great team and will be remembered. People still remember fondly the 2001 Mariners. I don't think the Fernandez trade will cost you much long-term.

 

I was a nervous wreck yesterday lol, refreshing the matchup and the MLB scoreboard every couple minutes. At 5 pm I thought I was done; none of my hitters had done anything in days. But Kemp came through (and McCann too). Congrats to NJH on a great season -- I know he'll improve in the offseason and make the Turkey Bacon Club tough again in 2015.

 

Kinda annoying that Lackey and House are having their starts skipped; I was counting on them this week. May have to do some streaming to counter-act BTS's three two-starts. I need one of his guys to get lit tonight.
