TRM Verified Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 GG and good luck against T&T next round Don't try to reverse jinx this s***!
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 It would take a combination of small miracles at this point.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 LET'S GO BETANCES! Don't f*** me over you prick!
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Betances is a monster The kid is completely filthy out of the pen. And to think, pretty much the entire world had written him off as a prospect.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 The kid is completely filthy out of the pen. And to think, pretty much the entire world had written him off as a prospect. 44 FIP- so that's a thing.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Jones could end it here with a jack.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 76.05 - 75.47! Thank you DB for this small victory. Of course if Ellsbury gets another AB, I could potentially lose both series lol. Or if DB gets another inning and gets lit up.
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 And there it is. Twist and Trout vs. A 2nd Leg to Stanton BALCO Pharm Team vs. The True Cardinals
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 Dinger is acting gentlemanly but we all know he is absolutely gutted. 200+ win team, doesn't even make the semis...

BTS Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Dinger is acting gentlemanly but we all know he is absolutely gutted. 200+ win team, doesn't even make the semis... Yeah, that's a kick in the nuts. Heavy preseason favourite goes out and wins the regular season, then makes a first round exit. Rough.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Dinger is acting gentlemanly but we all know he is absolutely gutted. 200+ win team, doesn't even make the semis... It's pretty s*****, but I have two other dynasty teams in the semis next week to think about now. My FC team has a lot of the same guys as Min's team (Holliday, Kuroda, Samardzija, Haren, Nathan), so I'll be cheering for him to upset TnT.

Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I left a bad taste in realmin's mouth 12 months ago (wait that sounded gay). He's coming out for blood. I anticipate a week long slugfest with his offense having the advantage, and my pitching having the advantage.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 If you guys wanna rub some more salt in my bleeding ass wound, I would have won if I played Moss over Hunter today.

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Sold Fernandez off for no reason, turns out... I can't believe he sold Fernandez. He's gonna be one of the top 3 pitchers for the next decade. I guess he'll always have his 200 win season though.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 The two players I got in that deal were both Top 20 players this year and don't figure to retire any time soon. I'm actually fine with it.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I would have regretted more if I didn't trade Fernandez and fell short this year, wondering what if. I built the best team in the league (league consensus, not my words). The best team doesn't always win, that's baseball.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Truth be told, I think I lost more value in the Lee deal, although it didn't cost me in the playoffs.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Don't be too disheartened Dinger, you still had a great team and will be remembered. People still remember fondly the 2001 Mariners. I don't think the Fernandez trade will cost you much long-term. I was a nervous wreck yesterday lol, refreshing the matchup and the MLB scoreboard every couple minutes. At 5 pm I thought I was done; none of my hitters had done anything in days. But Kemp came through (and McCann too). Congrats to NJH on a great season -- I know he'll improve in the offseason and make the Turkey Bacon Club tough again in 2015. Kinda annoying that Lackey and House are having their starts skipped; I was counting on them this week. May have to do some streaming to counter-act BTS's three two-starts. I need one of his guys to get lit tonight.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I'll be rooting for ya, kid. Only because BTS is such an a-hole.
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 How the hell did I become I bigger villain than No49?
