I must admit...I was excited to see Clarkson in Toronto, I didn't like the contract both years and figure was too high. At the time I did value him at 4-5 Million / 4-5 years...This is the perfect example of a system helping a player

I'm not following the draft this year, but isn't Barzal like a top 5 talent in this draft? Why is he rated so low? Injury or just mediocre play/production?

He's only played 16 games this season, been out with an injury that hurt his draft stock a little bit.

Whats the projected cap next year? I feel like the Canadian Dollar going down is going to make revenues a lot smaller than initially expected. Some teams are going to be in a mess cuz they thought it was going to go up a ton with the TV deal.

Lol the Avs should just fold if thats true. Bozak is a negative asset and Gardiner is really struggling, yet you would trade a 2nd line C for them..
