That was one of the best defensive games from the Leafs this season, and it wasn't against Buffalo (mind you, Columbus' numbers aren't that good, either).

The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled forward William Nylander from Modo of the Swedish Hockey League according to TSN's Darren Dreger. Nylander will report to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

Interesting move, hopefully they keep him in the AHL with top 6 minutes and resist the urge to promote him to the big club until next season.

I know nothing about hockey but since our local robot (JFaS) brought up dangle factory i'm going to play a 50/50 leauge on fanduel using the sites picks with the exception of Ray Emery since he's not playing and plug in the other goalie Zepp. It's kinda weird since i have so much salary remaining (1,300) but whatever. ha.

 

Guess i'm watching hockey tonight.

He's too young to play in the AHL 20 +...I'm not sure how this works, an OHL FA? The Leafs probably had this planned in the first place.
